Hello Mo123,
I while ago i downloaded v.16...Thought it was kitkat because i looked in google on the rom describtion..Cant check it any more, hangs in boot now.
But the rom was working good on my beelink 4k rk3288...Till suddenly the wifi after booting up was not working any more...Its suddenly the software what seems to stop working.Router and channels is not the problem. In settings or true the homescreen, the wifi switch doesnt work.It hangs if i try too switch it on.After a reset, same problem..Sometimes it works, next boot not any more...Rom worked like charm a few weeks ago..Where to go from here, with the beelink ubox 4K ..Flash it back again, or must i go too the newest rom because it hangs on the logo right now...

My wifi suddenly doesnt work anymore..
From 1 day till another powerd up my box and wifi was off....And stays off...Cant turn it on, doesnt work anymore.....Then it works, next day its off....I reset powerd and even did a clean master reset....But after a couple off days, like today....Off an stays off, its software related because everything doesnt work what is wifi related..For example some settings are gray because according android its turned off..
After master reset, Rkmc also doesnt work anymore....Hardware functions good if wifi is on, already checked the box but nothing there...
What to do from here, an why this suddenly came up, if its software...Why it returns after a master reset..
Thanks!
Make sure your device uses Ampak 6335 wifi, then everything should be fine.
You can also try to change the wifi channel to another in your router settings, maybe other people in the neighbourhood are using the same wifi channel and it interferes?
Also use a wifi channel lower than 11, as some of my ROM's are optimized for US wifi, if you need to use channel 12, 13 then you can change the maximum channels in the build.prop file.

I can install SPMC 16+ no problems but it doesn't run no where near as smooth as 15 as that's what you designed this rom to run on.
Please try new Lollipop firmware with Kodi 16(NTMC)
It supports HD Audio pass-through and auto frame-rate switching and should run very smooth.
Rockchip is also working on a SPMC build that will have all the latest improvements but it will probably also just work on new Lollipop firmware.
Kitkat is getting a bit old now and it's difficult to maintain two operating system versions.

There are lots of developments for Lollipop going on now, will probably release a very nice Lollipop ROM next week with all the Nagrace specific hardware working like HDMI-IN.

If you look at Kodi 16,17, there are less than 10 skins and half of them don't work properly.
With an airmouse, it's much easier navigating the menus, but default Kodi skin works better for IR remotes.
I'll probably use default Kodi skin for a new ROM.

The 23.976fps
In former times the values 30 Hz/60 Hz were quite correct, but with the implementation of the color television the NTSC refresh rates were lowered from 60 Hz to 59.94 Hz and from 30 Hz to 29.97 Hz for preventing audio flutter during broadcast. PAL refresh rates and equipment(used in the rest of the world) doesn't have this audio flutter and work better.
In the US they use NTSC while the rest of the world uses PAL(25,30,50,60,120fps)
All their broadcasting equipment and televisions are NTSC and I think it would be too costly to upgrade everything.
They could have standardized the framerate when eg. HD televisions came out but didn't do so.
23.976fps also reduces the bandwidth of movies if they were to be shot in eg 30fps.
Try to download a 60fps Youtube video and play it back, you will see at fast moving scenes the video moves very smoothly.
Try watching a 23.976fps movie where there are fast scenes and sometimes it gets difficult to watch because the framerate is not high enough.
Maybe in the future 23.976 will cease to exist and the whole world will use the same refresh rates.
The Rapier skin in Kodi is the only one that is constantly updated, there are some other nice skins but they don't have mouse support so can't be used on Android.
Most people are used to the default Kodi skin.

Mo, now the stutter seems to be gone on the v1.1 LP rom. First flash didn't work but second time it worked. Default skin in NTMC is a bit strange but managed to change it back to the default kodi style. The wireless mouse caused flickering when it reached the borders but stopped somehow. Thank you for all the hard work! BTW, why is 23.976fps such a headache? Most of my video files seems to be in that form.

But the v1.2 was made from another base that is a bit older(didn't know that when I made the ROM)
I will try to make a newer v1.3 Lollopop ROM since some people reported they have problems with Netflix.
Waiting for newer source code also so I can make a new Lollipop ROM from scratch and put all my tweaks inside, since using another ROM as base I'm not completely sure what is not working or working correctly. But Kodi or NTMC in Lollipop is definitely much better than on KitKat.
