2. Simplicity of Android TV literally makes this ideal... My kids stream youtube or vevo videos great. few navigational problems but they will be worked out for sure
3. Yes it is built for a remote. i have a cheap air mouse from ali express the navigational keys work great and mouse is not favoured until side loaded apps.
4. Netflix.. I tried sideloading netflix which is fine but navigation is limited, tried android tv specific netflix for 5.0 android.. nothing above will install.. at this level of netflix 2.1 i beleive force closes.
The original does play fine once caught up as previous users have argued, but access isnt as easy because of sideload launcher. (especially when cec is figured out) <--- my favourite next fix
5. KODI worked flawless for me... Gotham ---- Isengard -- RC2 -- then updated from official play store.. all runs with tvaddons and played a 5GB file from NAS or configured as SMB So im sorry previous user
please check your own system maybe my WD Cloud Live allowed this easier than your setup. but the fault may be at your end or ISP as I can confirm this works perfect.

In other words, it doesn't support the new chipset. Try using the file in post #352 in this thread and see if that fixes it - http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...rom-1-1/page24

That method works on Finless!
Now was going to try on this one but cant bypass setup wizard.
Anyway to bypass it?

From the Sideload Launcher select the Settings. At the bottom there is adjustment for overscan

Try a USB to Ethernet.

I tried powering off the stick.. pressing on the reset pinhole button and then plug the power ... google tv appears... I unpress the pinhole button, it just boots to normal rom.

2nd attemps, keep pressing pinhole button and then plug in the power... I keep on pressing the pinhole button, google tv logo appears, disappears, then re-appear and disappear, goes on like this until i release the pinhole button after which .. it boots to normal rom... wdf am I doing wrong??

Usb hub also does not seem to work? Working fine on stock rom
