For my own experience, video streaming with browsers is better under SDK2.
New version of anything is not necessarily better!

- DTS passthrough

- line blur, down the video, in low resolution ( dvdrip, web browser, ...).


PS - there are 2 generations, tronsmart draco, me I first generation (with firmware Tronsmart Draco AW80_141025.img), original firmware .

I use Tronsmart rom 2015-03-?? (SDK2), not the original one. Did you try that one ?

it's ABNORMAL! Try to flash the same rom or another rom! If the problem persists, your box is defective!

I flashed this ROM and updated KODI via PlayMarket. Updated Kodi sound settings to use direct output, turned on AC3 and DTS passthrough, turned on passthrough sound in the Android sound settings.
I have 5.1 output but the sound is seriously distorted.
Am I missing some settings or shouldn't I have updated Kodi?

I received my draco a few days ago and I directly switched to this rom and so far it's awesome. Big thanks to Boxx and GJayJayG!

Just one question: When the device is off I noticed the remote is unable to switch it on and have to unplug/plug to start it. Anybody has a workaround?

if you use the remote to turn it "off", it will go to sleep mode and you can wake it up with the same remote.
If you turn it "off" by clicking "Power off", of course, the remote CAN NOT power on the device.

Hello. Can anyone let me know how to flash rom this with out the sd card method? All I get with the Phoenix sd card method is after the green bar loads all the way I get the sd card ok message at the top then the box shuts off and never comes back on(waited 20 min). I don't know if it makes a difference how it's flashed bit I tried to flash the image with my computer and it goes thru and shows the first image with the rom version on the bottom right then it gets forever stuck with a Google logo with spinning gears and never restarts or loads (waited 30 mins 2ice ). Any ideas?
