the rom is booting and functions excellent. There is only 1 issue. No matter which way I hold the Tablet the screen image is rotated clockwise. IE: the time and other info is on the right hand side from top to bottom.Comment

Please now post the issues in the Nextbook forum under my ROM TEST thread. But I will tell you this. I noticed this right off the BAT compared to other Nextbook ROMS I have rooted... It did not seem right to me. BUT I cannot do anything about it as it is based off the ROM I used from that download link! I simply rooted it and made it a better file system. I cannot change how the kernel works without kernel sources. Sorry but I had a feeling this was NOT a real stock ROM.Originally posted by tuffskate View Post

Hey I have aNext7p tablet s#YF101145257 and this is the only rom that works on it the all others the soft keys and wifi and sound do not work my problem is with your bootanimation it loads horizontaly in the center of the screen and all squished is there a way to remedy this?
Also will there be a 1.5v of the 0811 kernel?

As soon as the 1011 1.5 beta is done I will work on the 0811.
There is a boot screen AND a boot animation. Is it just the boot animation showing up this way or also the initial boot screen?
If it is just the boot animation you can easily remove that. Get ES file explorer or another root file explorer from the market. Go into /system/media and delete or rename the bootanimation.zip file in there.

As usual I found the solution after posting this. Different USB port worked fine (duh). It seems it didn't load the driver properly on that USB port and seemed to "remember" the device. I plugged it in somewhere else, pointed it to the right driver and all good. Finally have my old tab back again! wireless and softkeys!

Hi Bob. Firstly thanks for making an 0811 rom! You may be able to help me with what prob is a stupid question. I flashed your 1.4 rom for a different sn and the wifi and soft keys didn't work (as usual). Now I want to flash this rom to test, but I can't get into recovery mode. Instead, I get the "Recovery mod by Fenice v1". It seems to wipe the device and reboot, but the device is never detected in RKtool. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but any forum searches I've done don't help and I've tried a number of combos.

Nextbook 7 Premium #0811 Stock Rom?
Finless or any other users out there,
Would anyone have the Stock rom for this tab?
I'm having issues with the Internal flash Memory on it and efun want's me to send it back to them however I don't want to send it to them with a Custom Rom on the unit *(Void) LOL

The 0811 ROM that I used was a ROM dump. Not sure if it is truely stock or not but is looked like it.
I can upload it if you want it?

Google Play Manul insatll
Hi first off thanks for all your hard work can't wait for 1.5
but the Stock rom works great thanks
your 1.4 for some reason was giving me video and screen issuse not sure why.
but since I'm stuck for now using the stock that I rooted
How would I go about installing Google Play market?
I found a tutoral about installing the old Market hoped it would upgrade but it wouldn't..
So I went and found google play.apk and installed that but it crashes
(process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
and then it loads back in the app screen..
Your like a Android God so I thought I'd ask if you would have any Ideas as to why this is happening
