I think this is getting ridiculous and Geekbuyiing should be using any influence they have to ensure that the suppliers are held to account for releasing inadequate products prematurely onto the market.
It does not cut the mustard these people rushing products out the door that do not contain even the most basic of coding/functions.
Just read that link above and staggered at how little effort these suppliers are putting into this product. It appears they have hastily assembeled these without some proper thought and QA.
The unfortunate thing about all this is they are "expecting" the like of BOB et al to do all this for them. At the very least they should be providing BOB et al with some financial support on an ongoing basis. Some form of consultancy fee.
Geekbuying I hope you take my words onboard and live up to your claim that you are a key part of the supply chain.
I was ready to order two of these and quite a few family and friends are waiting for my thumbs up. They will not get the thumbs up until:
1 - Bob et al get ongoing financial recognition for the work the manufacturer isnt doing.
2 - You push the manufacturers to provide whatever support BOB et al requires.
3 - You request Bob et al be involved with the product prior to release to market.
4 - I see the e-mail correspondence posted in this forum covering the above.
As probably one of the main distributors you have plenty of influence and as a customer it is you I leave the responsibility with.
