Ok got it working you can use wasser 3.0.1 to go either with rkm or with Wasser rom. Download both unpack each to different folders and use misc/resource/loader. If you want wasser use 3 files from rkm. Wasser on now testing it

No go in kodi. Crash ect. Everytime I don't include the kernel it's always screwed up? Maybe neomode can work some magic with this release. Paramiter needs to be 4 gigs min. And looks like they corrected boot issues as re boot working. Not a quick as wasser ui. But a positive step forward for the ricomagic software.

Unfotunately this build is a step back from the previous one , they set the black level to low instead of high in this rom , for some reason setting the black level to low
Cause a black level banding for H265 in all rk3288 roms (I think they set it at the wrong level when using high) , in addition this rom still has the UHD problem.

You got kodi to work? Did you update the supersu ? I don't know if that issue with my try but seems to be an issue with file structure. Kodi wouldn't load for nwcto test levels? ?

If you are talking to me then yes kodi is working and it worked with and without updating super su , but this is the original rom posted here , i didn't mix it with wasser or any other rom.

I think update binary su screw up root? Wasser firmware faster for sure. It positive step forward from ricomagic but need work.

Ok I got 3.0.2 working some artfacting on screens seems to be mouse movement sets it off. Turned off debug and 2d settings seems to have minimaized. Picture better still playing but kodi and other programs loading drives work network and wifi work. Nice speed too. Seems faster?

I use 902 Rc4 and 3.0.2 unpacked both use loader misc /resource from Rc4 and everything else from 3.0.2 to get to work.

How can I repack the firmware? Can you exmplain me step-by-step (if you can, of course) the exact procedure?

Use 2.3 rk tools and un pack each firmware once unpacked move to its own directory and then use the tool to install loader/mics/resource file of the base rom and everything else from the rom you want to port to.

There is a step by step on freak tab I'll see if I can find it once I walk the dog 😆
