so, simply said - nothing much. must say that i expected more after you said few days ago that they want to polish firmware and maket it more and more usable with every new version, and as they launched two firmwares in two weeks difference.

Maybe that was under stated a bit.

This is a big deal, actually. Rockchip left out this very important feature. If they want to make sales in the US, Netflix has to work.

Here, everyone wants their Netflix to work. In their first 4.2.2 releases Netflix was scrambled.

I was in the process of trying to fix it myself, but now I don't need to.

So...this IS a very important update. It shows that Rockchip is listening to Freaktab...we brought it to their attention through the channels we now have.

I swear to god, they did something important inside the system I've posted something in new 1.5 thread. Unfortunetly my problem was not visible on screenshots, hence the nature of the problem
Randy, there is something I dont understand. In Android Settings I see the kernel date is 05.18? So the kernel is untouched?

The problem they fixed wasn't inside the kernel. It was in the DRM and UI settings within the System.img.

You can tell they tweaked the UI because of the change in icon graphics on the soft buttons.

ok, that i said was from my POV. in any case i do not use netflix, so for me that is nothing much. but if that is so big trouble - yay for pipo! they accept suggestions of users. and that is good to know.
