I've just released a RK3188 ROMs for the Cube U30GT 2 based on cube's 4.2.2 ROM of 27 May 2013

Cube u30gt 2 4.2.2v6 900supersport 1.1 ROM


Notes

• Flashing will delete everything on your Cube consider backing up first and remove any sdcard

Instructions

• Download and extract to a folder
• connect the tab to the PC (you did remove the sdcard)
• start the ROM flash tool
• put the tab into flash mode, the PC should detect it, see below for instructions
• install drivers if required
• erase idb
• flash, the ROM kit is correctly configured
• the tab should boot to recovery and format cache, data and sdcard (this will take a few minutes)
• the tab should now boot

Let me know how this goes.

So what do you get?

• defaults to english uk
• root
• some bloat removed
• busybox and init.d support
• play/market fixes for more apps in Google Play
• a choice of 2,4,6 and 8 gig app space, 2 is the default but the others can be selected from the flash tool

Booting to Bootloader

• Power off the Cube
• hold Vol + and connect to usb
• After 3 to 4 seconds release Vol +
• The Cube should be detected by the PC.
• If you have not already installed the drivers now would be a good time. I've included the drivers in the ROM kit in the RockusbDriver folder.

Just flash this rom...everything seems to work fine for me...except the wifi still not upto the mark and the videos don't play in fullscreen on browser.. but does play on dolphin browser..
its scored a 15388 on on aututu benchmark..thatz good aye

Well...first thing I noticed already while unpacking...RK3188Loader(L)_V1.20.bin
Huge improvement from V1.04 is the last release.

CWM still working for you guys? Just asking.

Yes. Cwm fired right up with no errors...and NAND was formatted on first boot. I haven't tested cwm any further.

Nearly missed the new loader. I've flashed the last 3 or 4 ROMs by cwm, no need to use windows :-)

Backup and restore options work well too.

Just in case anyone missed it, there is a fix to Netflix for 4.2.2 ROM's.

I tried it on this ROM and it works.

Two observations with this version:

1. Ghost touches while typing is back while plugged in to the charger.
2. System hangs a while when confirming a rooted app for the first time.

Otherwise, everything else I've tried is working well.

/EDIT: Agree with point 1 from rrileypm. I had to unplug it to prevent selfdestruction

For the cwm zip just copy system, boot and kernel into the zip. Move onto the tab and use cwm to flash, I can even use the cheap USB cables when copying :-)

Not noticed any ghost touches but I'm using an alternate PSU so maybe that's the reason.

Sorry, I am newbie, i want to ask, i want to flash rom, when i run rkandroidtool, erase idb, and checklist the loader RK3188Loader(L)_V1.04.bin,the loader is not found, how can i get loader RK3188Loader(L)_V1.20.bin?because the default is RK3188Loader(L)_V1.04.bin?
please help me
