    No panic, lonix , the Hell remains flaming hot. Although much has been fixed since last update and generally the ROM feels much smoother than the last iteration, much remains to be done. Playback stutter and all new digital sound buffer glitch are among the most annoying errors in new Tronsmart R68 update. While it is nice to have 5G Wifi I must say, YOU have spoiled us with the quality of your work.
    I'm moving back to 9.4!
    Once again, THANKS for the amazing work lonix !!!

    anyone still here?

    I would like some people to test this new release, v9-4+ includes kernel.

    Changes:

    - Based on Zidoo 1.0.38
    - New Activation patch thanks STZO.
    - many kernel fixes, too many to post here.
    - removed most unnecessary apps and bloat.

    Install using TWRP over previous release v8-3 or above, Full ROM Available Here

    I could not get the new firmware to install on my Tronsmart R68 non-gigbit box, even using my stock resourece and kernel img.

    Thanks, Mo, will give it a try, but hard to beat Zidoo and Ugoos roms.

    Hi lonix;
    Thanks for the great work! Really appreciated.

    I am on the 9v3 ROM and I am having the same issue.
    the ROM performs perfect solving my problems with KODI.
    But with Auto Refresh Rate Switched on;
    - The Audio (randomly) is out of sync with the video, especially on HD Audios, DTS etc.
    - When playing a video, in the start, there is a short annoying buzz sound from the receiver (seems to be partly solved if you turn on "pause during refresh rate change" option, around 1 sec

    Thanks for any advise.
    Cheers

    Change the librkffplayer.so (rename it before copy), and install the kodi from inside the package. Than you will have a komplete ZDMC_1-0-36 version. Don't forget to set the access rights after the file copy! [/ QUOTE]

    E- AC3 does not work on pass through and the H265 has not decoded( just sound).

    HD audio passthrough problem is known with some firmwares, I'll check the H265 video decode again on my device. I did not experience such problem yet. Actually, I migrated from v34 to v36, and - besides the main part - I only replaced the librkffplayer.so, that works for me well, and so I did not make it completed.

    The rebooting sometimes instead of powering down is a bug, not really sure how fix, try powering off using quick boot.

    The ZDmc issue it's a known bug from zidoo, try downgrading the zdmc to previous release.

    It works fine with the newer librkffplayer.so.
    this is happening to me too for the powering off the device, Im still using the old version 8.3 if im not mistaken. what i found out is when im connected via wired or wireless lan the device power off is just rebooting the device. so if i want to turn off completely the device i will disable first the ethernet / wifi connection then power it off and always it works for me.
