Maybe the frequent changing of the IP number is recognized by the software and that initiates this message. Or maybe the MAC address changes too. Could you check, please, if these numbers are fixed or changing at every restart (power off/on cycle)? If you have fix MAC address, probably you are able to set your phone to assign the same IP number to the box at every new connection, or maybe you can use a fix IP number too. If so, the mesaage shoud be disappeared anyway.
Btw.: do you take this box with you as a mobile device and use it as e.g. a tablet PC

Then .... the MAC address of the box, it changes every time you restart, while the IP remains the same as I connect in ethernet and I set a static IP ... If I connect to wifi at home remains throughout ok !! but as soon as I connect to the Wifi hot spot of the mobile phone, after a minute or so, the error appears ... how should I do !? If I have to set a fixed IP also on Wifi !? Sincerely up a little bit confused ....

    Hi ontherocks,

Thanks for this important information, but it seems being more relevant to the "Nexbox Zidoo edition" topic, so maybe you should copy it to that place too!
Did you replace all KODI files in your Z68? What do you mean "as previous roms" exactly? 1.0.34 does support transcoding on my box.

I understand well how to do and did it !! process went well ... But the illegal activation error problem persists about hot spots outside, that remains if you connect the box to a phone in hot spots and the error as mentioned before, pue affect the functions of rEBOOT, aND STAND bY pOWER OFF and restart you should disconnect the unit from the box, besides the fact that in this version is manually placed the file for the operation of bluethott !! I would not know what to say .... I think something should be placed in ROM.

In fact this type of error happens when for example I connect to Wi-Fi the Beelink to my phone !! At the precise moment that I connect it comes out the mistake ... and goes away when you restart the box pulling the plug because the error affect me well as reboot of the remote control function, basically, the remote control power button no longer works and I'm forced to unplug and plug the power cord of the box to start it again ... as soon restarted the box I connect with ethernet home network or Wi-Fi network and everything is smooth and no errors !!! ! This thing is very strange, I can not understand why this happens ... maybe for the files I changed to turn Bluetooth on or maybe because I flashed the last FULL ROM without erased flash memory!? You can kindly help me understand how to erase the flash memory so that you can re-install the FULL ROM with Android tool and see if the error disappears even using a mobile hot spot !? I await your instructions on how to erase the flash memory !! Thank you.

I don't know what happened to you, I guess, some files stayed in your box, without replacing them by the new install package. Are you sure that you erased the flash memory before flashing the new rom? Or maybe you installed the zip package from TWRP? This second way does not replace everything, so maybe is better to install the full rom with Android tool, and wipe (erase) the flash memory before flashing the new one. I always do this last one.

I do not know what happened exactly ... but now, after having emptied the cash and restarted the box, the error magically disappeared !! I would not know what to say .... I just hope everything remains so. Anyway thanks a lot Stzo. 👍👍👍👍👍

Been a while since I updated because there seems to be no need everything works just fine here, I had a couple questions though. Is your latest release equivalent to the zidoo base release version 1.0.38? There is also a new ZDMC base for kodi 16.1 released by zidoo right after they released their new firmware version 1.0.38. Is this something that can be installed after we install your latest firmware version? I see you have not released the kernel for other boxes yet but after I install your latest firmware, can I extract the kernel from Zidoo v1.0.38 and install that or do I need to wait for you to prepare the kernel?

Do you see the possibility of these TV roms going further in the future with more extreme modifications as you see over in other forums such as XDAdevelopers. Saber roms, AOSP kangs, Slim roms etc etc? I know they compile their sources with hyped up custom script using toolchains like sabermod and linaro for example to make them run faster or more efficient and with more custom options for the user. There are developers who also mod the stock kernel using similar toolchains and modded source script for those android devices to also make them run faster and with more user custom features.

Are some of these roms from freaktab configured and compiled the same kind of way?

Sorry the 2nd part off topic.

    Thanks!!
    Hi androidfr33k,

I still use 8.3, only the KODI I replced to ZDMC from Zidoo 1.0.36. I'm fully satisfied with this configuration, and do not want to change unless some completely new feature or requirement will appear, which needs changes anyway. Probably you do better to stay with your existing system, as lonix recommended too.

I understand, if everything is working for you it's probably best to stick to the older version, it seems that every time the team at zidoo fix something they manage to break something else.

    A bit like me. 😥

The reason I build the kernel for tronsmart is because the stock version has major problems.

These other roms are built from source, where as I've just altered a precompiled ROM.
