Sorry, Molle, I don't see the link in your post.

Rather than use an SD test, I loaded up Navi-X last night and went to a source site called Nothing But 1080p. They have Men in Black III in true 1080p. I streamed the entire movie without one hiccup and it looked fantastic. This was using only the USB port on my Samsung 55" HD TV to power my 908.

Finless, this is fabulous work. There may be more tweaking to do with refresh rates to get performance consistent and also would like to see Ethernet enabled. But we're streets ahead of anything else I've tried on the 908 - and I have tried a lot!

        50 Hz

I had best results seting the HDMI to 1920x1080p-50. 720p is better 50Hz than 60Hz.
The skip frames occours when the cursor mouse is NOT visible. On 1.4 and 1.5 we need to move the mouse to stop skip frames.

To test the problem search slomoguys on youtube

The videos are in slow motion and are taken at 1600 fps.

In my Nexus rom for T428 i don't have frame skipping. You can test the Nexus rom with all other roms with this videos to understand.

These slomos are indeed fine tests of FPS. I'm running that Crossbow through the Soda Bottles video on the Finless Alpha 908 as I type this, and truthfully, I'm gettng excellent results. Maybe a faint hint of flicker (HDMI) but no stutter as the arrows cut into the bottles and the sodas explode. Perhaps I'm lucky with my particular 908. It is working well with the alpha test and I look forward to its further development.

I see you doing great work too. I'd try your Nexus rom port, but it won't run on my 908.

You're right about 50hz and 720p. On the 908 I don't have HDMI settings because the kernel for that rom comes from Bob's 4.2.2 rom. But I edited his init.d script to change the boot-up refresh rate to 50, and things look even better.

But we want to get this rom up to full speed, since 50hz can introduce more screen flicker.

hello bob, I tested this ROM, it is very beautiful, very fast, 720 and 1080p ok
on "YouTube 4.4.11 (v6) Mod (08-05-2013)" and youtube firefox.

I also tested the game "Real Racing 3 v.1.1.7 (free), audio ok, no stutters.
Across all seems to work well, apk, navigation, ...

                except:

                - RKRemoteControl is not detected by Tronsmart T428

                - Reboot every 5 to 10 minutes

                  Bootloop

                  Bob:

I'm trying to get back to alpha test for the 908 after unsuccessfully flashing Hoabyscr's kernel. I followed the same steps as before:

                  - Wipe Nand, flash Alpha test rom, but with your 720p kernel from 1.5 for the 908.
However, this time I can't get the device to boot at all.

I also tried backflashing to where I was before I installed alpha test, which was your official 1.5 for 908. My hope was to go forward from there. However, this time, I get a bootloop. I get to the spinning android guy for a few seconds and then collapse back into a reboot.

                  Ouch!
                  Any advice much appreciated.

Zahir hi, I also had to reboot problem, and I struggled to reboot the "tronsmart T428".
I got renu account that the USB cable power supply is foctionnait,

I do not know if this is because of the ROM "T428 ALPHA TEST ROM".
I use a new USB power cable that is running.

For me the ROM "T428 ALPHA TEST ROM" is really the best, but still have problems, I hope this will be a good fix for Finless ROM 1.6.

                    I returned to ROM
                    "Tronsmart T428 Android 4.2.2 - Finless 1.5A"
which is currently the most stable.

I will try reflashing and booting with another cable. Thank you very much for the suggestion. I will let you know how I do! I would really like to get back to Alpha test, for me it's the ONLY rom so far.

                        No Luck

Nope - I'm stuck in a bootloop on Finless 1.5. I just see the bootanim spinning for 2 seconds and then it reboots.

Alpha test doesn't boot at all now..

                        Sad day.

                          Stock Won't Load Either

Reflashed the latest stock firmware (June) to try and get a rom that will load. No go. I get stuck in 4.2 recovery mode, with a dead android on his back.

Quite fitting...Putting this device away for now, It's not going anywhere.

Zahir, we must perhaps a hard reset.
I know how to do it Rikomagic III
but I do not know how to deal with Tronsmart MK908, sorry.

Please Put somebody source code to compile the kernel with .config for t428, asix.ko need to modify that would support D-Link DUB-E100 H / W Ver: C1,
it is necessary to file asix.c, add
                              +} {
                              + / / D-Link DUB-E100 H / W Ver C1
                              + USB_DEVICE (0x2001, 0x1a02),
                              +. Driver_info = (unsigned long) & ax88772b_info,

A hard reset would be a good thing! Might snap this device out of its coma.
