Hi it downloaded fine and it seems to work but only with usb power or if I hold down the power button do you think something is fried in the box or is some setting wrong

I think that one of hardware component (diod ,transistor,etc) may have demaged so the box is unable to get 2 Amper.I dont recomanded using usb power all the time.I have used the usb power with my box for 2-3 hours but i think that if the box dont have protection ,than the box will be demaged.

If your box powered up with usb cable and dont need the charger 2amp than some component is demaged but the good news is that you can power your box and use it with usb cable (dont connect charger and you will not have problems)

Hello All,
I am having the same issues of "E: Can't mount /cache" errors. I tried flashing OpenElec and it bricked. My device is the M8S with the S812 chip version 20150923 8v_8. I have tried many many roms and almost all TWRP recovery files, but TWRP does not seem to load. Can any help me understand how I can load TWRP ?
