Crasches with Finless 4.2.2

Hi

I updated the stick with Finless 4.2.2, but now I find it crashing all the time. Stock browser crasches, dolphin browser crasches, spotify crasches. Every crash makes the stick reboot.

Is there any way to check why this happens? Or are there a fix?

Your saying you flashed his 4.2 v1.4? May be a bad flash. Did you erase before flash? Have you tried clearing data-cache in the apps? Do you have cwm installed? If so you could try the usual wipes-fix permissions. If none of this works. You could re-flash with the new 1.5. Read the directions carefully.

Yes, it´s the 1.4 version that crashes, in fact so much that I dont want to use the stick until it is fixed.

I did the the flash following the instructions in the 1.4 package. The wipe locked fine, as did the update itself.

Where do I find the 1.5 files?

Found the 1.5 files so I wipe/flashed using these files, but the error remains. When opening stock browser it crash/reboot. Opening Google Play and push search makes it crash/reboot.

Can it be internet access problems that makes the cx-919 behave this way?

You have some other issues my friend. Maybe bad hardware. No one else has this on either ROM.

Will there be any more performance updates for the CX-919 maybe Finless mod 1.8? Also has anyone tried running Picuntu? Id love to see a full blown Linux mod for the cx-919!!! With well written drivers, who knows maybe some UT games would run off Steam for Linux.

no found rkandroid rock usb (1.6b)

ive got the drivers installed, comes up as rockusb device under control panel devices but i still get no found rkandroid rock usb with the rom flash tool

although
under usb menu it only says "connect to pc"
and in storage options i have "media device mtp" and "camera ptp" it does not say "mass storage"

please help this cx noob

Open the flash tool on your pc, hold the fn button on the cx919 wile connecting it to your pc via OTG port on the cx919

you dont need to power it, on mine the otg is the mini port on the end next to the full sized usb port ..if that don't work try the one on the side

That's what I thought...in the instructions it says the led won't come on,but it does every time and then says not found. I've rooted many android phones but this is a little different. One time the cx recovery screen came up accidentally

Ok lets go back to the drawing bored are you using a usb2 or usb3 port,you need to be using usb2..Also you need to be using a usb port on the back of your pc not one on the front...have you got this already rooted by anychance cus we could do it another way if you have using the reboot apk

yes usb 2 (on an intel nuc so im wondering if thats why)my laptop is xubuntu
no this is the first time, its been stock this whole time
it makes the bonk noise the windows says drivers installed everytime
just to clarify,only plugged in to pc no power or hdmi?
