NEOMODE CUSTOM ROM MK808B PRO S905 & MXQ PRO S905

Today I bring you a New Neomode Custom Rom for the MK808B PRO S905 & MXQ Pro S905.
This Rom is tweaked to get rid of the System Problems we see on the Orginal MK808B Pro Rom.
I'm going to try to remember everything i made to it!
I hope you enjoy it :-)

Software Included:

- KODI

- VIRTUAL HDMI SWITCH
- MX PLAYER
- YOUTUBE
- Petrus Reboot App
- Chrome Cast Service !! Means you can Stream to your Device like you would do to a ChromeCast Device !!

Our roms are fiitted with SR the new improved rooting system, our devs spent months on this new exciting development.
Also i tweaked the CPU Power Managment for good Balance and added Various Drivers for External USB Ethernet Drivers.
Even the WiFi Driver Stack is optimized now for good Streaming :-)

Installation:
After Downloading the Rom unpack the Zip File and Burn it to the Device with the USB BURNING TOOL.
That´s all.

This is one Excellent little Rom.
Netflix smooth, looks good.
Kodi a few demos tested for now Fifa world cup, PQ_Drive world smooth.usaing WD DUO Nas over wifi (slow)
Plex as always, WiFi and USB to ethernet good speeds and connections,
Clean UI no Junk in the Trunk,
My faith in Sticks, no we will call this a Dongle now has Improved as of today

Chromecast seems to only work with YouTube HBO go wouldn't acknowledge it. Antutu was on low side. I renamed the file that kills background processes in system/etc 60 fps 4k test files stutter but do on stock as well. Over all pretty good. In reality where am I gonna stream 60 fps 4k movies right now anyway. Only light testing done.

So I just got my MXQ Pro today and want to flash to this ROM but don't know how. I'm not new to this sort of stuff but all I'm getting is a .img file. Don't I need a .zip and all that in order to install it? What do I do? Thanks!

Well there is the mxq pro quickplay. On installation I assume there is a reset switch in the av hole like the other mxq devices?
Unless this twrp works on the mxq pro.

Well the Pro has a "Update & Backup" app that you use to flash updates with. There is no switch that I can see.

Edit: Never mind, yes there is a switch actually in the AV jack. Put a toothpick in there and can feel a "click"! Ingenious! Never seen this before haha!

I guess we need more confirmation on if this supports the 4K version and I still need to know how to install it. I've never seen a ROM with just the .img file...

This Rom is only for MXQ Pro and MK808B Plus S905.

I tried to install the .img file using USB_tool but just got an error. What's the quickest way to install this please? I don't have a TWRP recovery, just the stock one. Incidentally, is there a recovery.img file I can put on an SD for TWRP for this device? The old one for the MK808b Plus doesn't load, just goes to stock recovery all the time. Thanks for any help.

You need Burning Tool in Version 2.0.5.
Also, unplug all Devices from the Box.
I got an error when I let my USB Dongle for AIR Mouse in the Box.

- Start the Software on PC and press Start
- Plugin the Box
- Flashing Start

Thanks Neo, but I can't find that version anywhere. Any links on Google go to a dead site. I only have version 2.0.4.2 and that just gives error on loading the img file. Does your ROM include a custom TWRP recovery? Or do you know of any way I can get the recovery.img file for TWRP for this MK808b Pro please?
