May I know? What's the OpenELEC version you are working for Spot i7?
Hi Jim. Tested the Openelec on the Spot i7. Works with USB and SD card. Doesn't work yet output audio via BT, everything else works.
Tested the i7 on Linux. Works. Soon uploaded on the website ready images with multiple systems (Debian Ubuntu, Altlinux).

The version number of the OpenELEC is 6.95.3.7.0. It works very well, remote too.

Hello Balbes, Really happy to see Ubuntu on the list.
      Thanks for your continuing efforts

Uploaded on website version of Openelec collected on stable branch. It all works except the built-in BT. When you first start will auto-expand the second section. The first start takes more time.

Excellent, and working more testing to do.
WiFi, 2.4g Ethernet, BT Dongle all good.
As mentioned i7 will a reboot after first boot to allocate/format rest of free space on SD/USB stick being used.
          Cheers

If you make changes in the body (for normal ventilation), replace the radiator, i7 works well enough.

The first step in the instructions. The second step is to record only the image. Or what files do not change. Take the image from the folder "stable". OpenELEC-Amlogic.arm64-SPOT_i7-7.0-devel-20160518131625-r22293-g8448589.img.xz

1a.) Extract update_uboot.7z to an SD card or flash drive. This results in two files on the card or flash drive, aml-autocscript and aml_autoscript.zip.
1b.) Insert the card or flash drive in to the i7 running Android.
1c.) Open the Update and Backup app, under the "Local" update section, click select. A list will appear, select the file named aml_autoscript.zip. Click update.

The i7 will reboot, you will notice little other than a few screen flashes(be patient) and then the i7 will reboot to Android. Remove the SD card or flash drive.
                          End Step 1.
I did this, then i used win32 disk manager to create the openelec thumbdrive.. "i could not copy s905_autoscript or dtb.img to the thumbdrive i just created for openelec" see attached screenshot
inserted thumbdrive.. booted my i7 and nothing happened.. just went into android

View this topic. It will tell you exactly what to do and how. The first step is exactly the same. The only difference in the original image file Openelec.
