try it with AndoidTool 2.35 and first erase flash (secondTab) , after that it must work with flashing .

Actually nothing solved it. Fact is I had to download ROM after ROM online until I found a compatible ROM and it flashed without having any problems at all and it's repeatable - i.e. the problem was mismatch for the PCB despite the ROMs both being for MX4N RK3229 with AP6051.

But back to the point, yes as far as shorting pins to unbrick, worked great on two different Scischion V88 RK3229's (V88 is a MX4N variant) and flashed without issue on any Rockchip flasher app once I found the right ROM.

FYI for those having issues flashing to the MA8-4K box, there is no factory rom currently , if you've bricked your only choice is to flash a compatible ROM. .The only compatible ROM that flashes with zero problem are the marshmallow ROMs for the V88 (SV6051 / AP6051 wifi chipset version).

do you know what CPU it is using , maybe u saw it somewhere in an DeviceSpec.App

that was on your Box , before it bricked ??? do you know ??? otherwise we can not really

go on , or we must test it with the different BurningTool , if you not can or want to look under

the Heatsink of your device . I come back later , now i must first do other things .

Did I need to remove the heatsink? But I think it's processor is rk3239d and it is using sv6051p.( Xt-mx4n-v03) 2017-02-08

Does the Flashtool find the Device if you connect it to Pc ??? ( connect like you want to flash ) . Important

what Windows do you use , always run the Tools as Admin . Please add a Link where you bought it to see
