I just found that the Tanix TX5 Pro (S905X Android 6.0.1) has root pre-installed. Maybe someone can extract the root package from the latest firmware image posted and make it work with this box? http://freaktab.com/forum/advertiser...s905x-firmware

Same here although I've not tried since Saturday, I'll have another go tonight. Is there anyway of catching the OTA update so I can put it up somewhere ?

Install firmware 19.07
Then update 05.08 - come.
The firmware 28th July do not work OTA

Hi,

I hooked the box up again last night and finally got the 05/08 update, I took a screen cap of the update screen to clarify what the update was....

Provisionally I would say the changing language issue is fixed.

Hi I have downloaded the latest update mentioned but since that the hdmi cec function has stopped working has this happened to anybody else or does anyone know how to fix it thank you
