I have tried many memory cards and sd cards.
I extract the original zip file onto the sc card with update.zip

and when I try to update on a s905x tx3 pro I get these errors below

I have also tried a friends tx3 pro with the same result.

I have the flash tool but there is no button under the av button to put the box in the correct mode like the 5.11 s905, unless it can be done from the update menu.
Please explain steps, I have updated mxqpro boxes using an image file and usb lead.
Do you have a link for the img file?

I would imagine this was the fix for the language change at boot, other boxes I own have a CEC menu where you can turn off auto language selection.. Only speculation though....

I do not think you have latest build as these all fixed in last ota?

Go in to settings and disable bluetooth. It might not give you the full WiFi speed you should be getting but it's MUCH more stable with BT disabled!! Test your speed on fast.com with and without BT enabled and you'll see what I mean.

Change your wifi channel to 11 and see if that helps sounds like they may be interfer each other. If that fix it solve for all.... I test when i get miniute but i see same issue.

You have to flash the 20160719 update first to get the OTA 20160805 update. The 0728 build doesn't have the right OTA URL so it can't find any updates.

Yeah that's it, just pick Local and choose the file from your SD card. I find that USB flash drives don't work unless you boot the recovery console and hit Install from EXT.

After flashing firmware 20160805 has anyone noticed increases in wifi?

I have seen little to no changes. I have compared the speeds with my laptop connection from the same position that is also over wifi and the results are quite different. The box on average is 80% slower than the laptop wifi speed. It is almost like the box wifi is limited. Very odd considering the signal strength is at full. Also, on occasion the upload speed is faster than download. This is not the case on my laptop.

I do wonder if the internal wifi antenna is placed to closely to the board as on some of the previous M8 boxes. Or the sealed box is reducing the signal. Or both. I may dismantle the box to find out and in the process take out some frustration.

I fear if there isn't a wifi fix, the purchase for a M8s/M8s+ would have made more since. Saving the $10 so far has not been worth it.
