I tried the latest stock rom for the mxq 4k and this one...I was previously on kitkat....in both cases I lost sound but everything else appears to be working. I was previously using sound from hdmi to the tv...I've tried the various options under sound manager...I've told it the output is to a tv....any suggestions on how to get it back short of "go back to kitkat"?

I upgraded to this Rom, working 100%, but the box powers off randomly. Anybody else getting this?

me too, but it makes me also with other firmware , but not all ? I just notice it

I check if overheating but no it remains at 80 ° Celcus and therefore message " to stop" random

my guess is that it's a third party app with a memory leak ?

I checked the logs, and it seems the power off is caused by lowmemory. I updated FTMC to latest, reset FCMC back to first install, installed app Greenify that allows apps to be forced to hibernate in the background and applied the hibernate to all the apps except FTMC, including system apps. FTMC is a lot more responsive and the box looks stable. Will monitor it and see how it runs.

Yes this mem control on this box Rom are a bit buggy and the only 1gb don't help

SC ... on my Rk3229 / RTL8189 box, using newly released 5.1 firmware, FTMC with RK enabled plays all video blank, only sound. Is there permissions I can put in on boot, to fix it ? I updated to latest lib.., but still the same.

Well for now the s905 (not s905x) are the most stable ones, this is me others may have other opinions... check some reviews!

hmm i dint test with DRM info, but i did like i do on all my rom and it should be ok,,, but i will look at it!

How can I add widevine support to the suppliers ROM? I would like to keep some settings (adblock, root, TWRP, Kodi 17, wtc) without the whole reflashing process of your custom ROM at this point. Can you give me a short explanation who did you manage to enable widevine support?
