        Hello All CX-919 users,

I am experiencing the same Blank-Internal-Flash Error after running my CX-919 for some time... Now I see that I am not the only one!!

I purchased the CX-919 from GeekBuying in USA using , Amazon/Prime:

Unfortunatelly, I am having various serious problems with the CX-919...

I ordered the 2G/8G version, but after checking the System Setting, I get only the following memory values:

Internal Storage = 0.98GB Total Space

        NAND-FLASH = 6.60 Total Space

As you all may have noted, apparently the NAND-FLASH is correct, but the Internal Storage is wrong, because only detects 1GB instead of the 2GB.

I also have noted that the CX-919 is also a little tricky or unstable:

-Sometimes It auto resets or lock the screen pointer.
-I get (four times) the following message after bootup: "TV MODEL NOT RESPONDING", the screen flashes and the system freezes (with no mouse pointer)
-If I install a 32GB MicroSD memory directly in the CX-919 , the System don't boot and screen freezes.
        - Video still very choppy...

Please Let me know if someone recommends some method, that could enable the use of the FULL 2GB of memory?

I sent two EMails to GeekBuying, but don't have received any reply... I am still waiting for them with a satisfactory solution, or I will have to return my CX-919?

        Thanks in advance for help!

hello, i think you are a little confused, NAND flash is internal memory, not RAM, if you have
Internal Storage = 0.98GB Total Space +NAND-FLASH = 6.60 Total Space + android OS space, you have 8 gb of nand, and is ok!
RAM must be cheched with one apk like CPU-Z, there you can check RAM CPU etc

for the others issues you have, try flashing latest rom for cx919 or finless rom, that can be your solution, but i have finless and nand blanck message appears sometimes, just reboot your device and all back into normality, thats my case

          regards

Thanks MARIANOTE for your fast reply!

I have read that in this NEW firmware the video is still choppy and that also wifi/bluetoth are very bad, so I am a little scared and dont know if this new firmware is better than the last one...

Concerning the Memory may be you are right... The problem is that with only 1GB of free memory, the CX-919 is very limited.

I would like to mention that I am also using a SONY Google TV NSZ-GT1, and the memory is higher and faster...

So, do you or anyone here knows how can I increment the value of this memory in the CX-919?

            Best Regards.

with finless rom you can add memory to OS partition ( for installing more apks!) RAM cant be increased, i think...
all you need is explained into readme.txt file on Finless 1.4 pack from Bob.
              regards!

I've tried it. Flashed the kernel only, but the CX-919 now starts in recovery mode.

BTW what is the intital Rom you are using. I'm using the Rbox version that Geekbuying posted: http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php...2-rom-release/

Use the Finless ROM with this kernel.

                          went to electronics store

i could not wait for my china ethernet adapter.. so i went to a electronics store here in sweden bought a 10/100 ethernet adapter, it worked directly, but i only got 30 mbit, then i connected my usb hub to otg and then boom over 100 mbit. now i can stream 1080 p via smb trough network and have a decent internet connection the usb ethernet adapter is this one: http://www.konigelectronic.com/sv_se/1006645

i use mx player with dts custom codec.. works fine

Done that and so far everything is fine. Too bad the Finless boot screen is ugly. Sorry for that Bob, no offense. It's just not my style.

So far the Strauzo kernel seems to have solved the Blank Internal Flash problem.

Funny thing, when I use my Mele F10 and hit the orange "Go" button the message "Blank Internal Flash"" appears. When I hit the button again the Internal Flash is reïnstated.
