Failed to mount '/system' (Operation not supported on transport endpoint)
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk0p14', current file system: 'ext3'

Your device has ext3 system partition .. not very common .. changed this now.

    TWRP_RK3229_v161122-3.img

Removed the linuxroot partition as well ..

Now should be able to install Xposed Framework or SuperSU.zip via TWRP.
Do backups and restore of data partition .. system as well, if needed at all.

Pls test and send a new log recovery.log ..

    Thanks

        Thanks for the logs. ..

It seems you have a problem with your system partition .. maybe some strange image flash.

        I:Unable to mount '/system'
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk0p14', current file system: 'ext3'
        I:Check_Lifetime_Writes failed to mount '/system'

Failed to mount '/system' (Operation not supported on transport endpoint)
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk0p14', current file system: 'ext3'
Failed to mount '/system' (Operation not supported on transport endpoint)
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk0p14', current file system: 'ext3'

I remember a similar issue on other android hardware ...

Can you go into TWRP again, advanced wipe and format your system partition.
Afterwards .. change to loader ( adb reboot loader ) and flash your current system.img only.
Maybe you use latest v4 version were ext4 is configured again.

And here the external sdcard ..

        I:Can't probe device /dev/block/mmcblk1p1
        I:Unable to mount '/external_sd'
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk1p1', current file system: 'vfat'

Your external sdcard partition layout seems to be strange .. for Android .. you may have formatted it on PC.
        Here is your layout ..

        179 64 62367744 mmcblk1
        179 65 1 mmcblk1p1
        179 69 62362624 mmcblk1p5

My one is looking like ..formatted via Android system.

        179 64 62367744 mmcblk1
        179 69 62362624 mmcblk1p1

I can mount my external sdcard inside TWRP ..

Pls format your external sdcard via Android system and TWRP will recognize it.

Pls ignore the internal_sd card - old stuff

        Did you test usb-otg ?
Does it recognize usb storage ?

Pls have a look below .. from so many partitions you have only a few are supposed to be mounted ..

Sorry for the long message ... very hard for me to troubleshoot "remotely".

If anybody else can test as well on RK3229 hardware ?

The last version for today .. to change back to ext4 for system partition - as it should be.

        Cheers

OK, I've wiped system and reflashed system.img, then flashed v4 of recovery.

Unfortunately everything is the same as before.

The external SD card was formatted in a PC to FAT32 nut will reformat in Android to see what happens after I have backed the data up.

Thanks for the hard work in trying to get it working.

You should have flashed v4 before the format of system partition .. to use the changed fstab with ext4 instead of ext3.

As the rockchip tools are "block based" your will overwrite the complete filesystem anyway.

Pls post me the link for your complete ROM .. I wll have a look into your system.img.
This system image problem is not normal.

Do you have another ROM for your device ?

Are you able to test on your second hardware too ?
            Nexsmart D32 ?

            Thanks

            EDIT:
This ROM has normal ext4 partition ...

Your new ROM has ext3 partition .. why ?

Are you able to change to ext4 ?

            Thanks

            EDIT 2:
Have made a new system.img for you ...
            Dolamee_D5_bluesmanuk_19102016_newsys.img

Pls flash as system.img and test TWRP.

If the ROM has ext3 then it it down to the tool that was used to pack it.

I'll flash the ext4 version and test TWRP.

You have 2 partitons which are currently not possible to be mounted !
Your sdcard and your non ext4 system partition.

                  "Dolamee_D5_bluesmanuk_19102016_newsys.img" is a system.img only .. not a complete firmware !

mmcblk0p13 should be your system partition .. Check it with .. adb shell ls -al /dev/block/platform/*/by-name

Don´t know your tools .. we need to have an ext4 partition for TWRP.

Pls run the following command ..

                  adb root
                  adb shell blkid /dev/block/mmcblk0p13

Pls install this firmware or only the system.img for testing. ... with proper ext4 partition.
                  http://freaktab.com/forum/advertiser...ee-d5-firmware

If possible, pls test on your other RK3229 device as well ..

                  Thanks

                  EDIT:
Had some time to check this issue .. very strange indeed.

If we can mount the ext4 partition /data on your emmc inside your box there is no general problem.
One ext4 partition is like the other .. we are on the same emmc/disk.

Normally TWRP should be able to mount ext3 as well ... normally

Your ext3 system.img and the ext4 system.img from the other firmware above are missing the value "Lifetime writes:"
                  ( dumpe2fs system.img )

Inside the recovery.log ... it seems to block the mounting process.
I: operation_start: 'Check Partition Lifetime Writes'
                  I:Unable to mount '/system'
I:Actual block device: '/dev/block/mmcblk0p14', current file system: 'ext3'
                  I:Check_Lifetime_Writes failed to mount '/system'

it seems to block the mounting process .. you can still test the other ext4 system.img too.

When you flash with Windows tool, take care of the correct "address" (offset).

For testing .. I have packed a complete new firmware for RK3229 .. -> Your ROM with "another" system.img inside.
(did forget to label=system the previous system.img-only file)

Pls install the complete firmware (update.img) below .. hopefully it's booting

                  Dolamee_D5_bluesmanuk_19102016_newsys_update.7z

                  Thanks

When I said that I tested with the firmware, I was aware that it was just the system image, so just a wording thing there.

Yes, after flashing it mmcblk0p13 is my system partition.

The tool I tend to use is RK3xxx_firmware_tools_5.99.07.00 from Sergio Poverony.

Despite flashing the revised ext4 system image though, the partition is still reported as TYPE="ext3.

I'll flash stock though and get back to you.

It works with stock firmware and I was also able to take a full backup to the external sd card.

                      Great work :-)

I'll test on the D32 that only has the latest stock next.

Perfect .. you saved my day

Maybe my repacked version of your ROM is working too ?
If it boots and if the partiton is still ext4 your are done.

If it again ext3 we need to check your boot.img .. e.g. ramdisk.
Maybe some strange actions while booting

But as you can see it's mostly Rom related .. not TWRP related.

                        Cheers

Yes it's good to have that useful information for future reference and I'll research why the tool is creating ext3 instead of ext4.

For confirmation, twrp working on DolameeD5?
Which file specifically was working recovery?
How to flash?(can be done via fastboot flash recovery.img?)

Very exciting... Thank you guys for building/testing and debugging

The TWRP_RK3229_v161122-4.img is the one that I flashed and confirmed as working on stock ROM only right now.

I use the Androidtool 2.3 or 2.5 to flash it.
