Sorry for the old post and a bit OT.

I have managed to aget a T95K Pro up running with CoreELEC 8.90.4. I sure would like to know information how to get an ARMbian boot on this device. Can you provide the link to such an information? TiA.

1- Donate then your opinion would matter little more.
2- Read the entire Thread posts. It says launcher everything the same and the fixes (over 20 on this alone not counting his kernel fixes but hey if its not better then stock go back to stock then. )

3- Read the Ftmc thread and your missing the items put in by Superceleron (including passthrough last build) But if your happy with Kodi latest great. Youll notice it works a bit better in Superceleron build because of a few kernel changes.

4- Read and learn how to change the logo. It is posted we wont tell you this time and give you a chance to learn how to use the search menu on Freaktab.

    5. Developers work hard making fixes to improve your crap device. A little comment saying Thanks for your excellent work goes along way more then just bashing the build.

    Happy New Year.

I have a T95K Pro and tried this ROM but cant get the WIFI to work. It cant even switch on. Always stays off. I opened the box and the WIFI chip says
    longsys ltm8830
Im kind of new to these boxes but i tried different rom's without getting it to work.
Anyone have any ideas on how i can solve this?

I started having a problem with the stock firmware where the internet connection on both Wifi and Ethernet cable would be on and off. I re flashed a couple of stock versions and kept encountering the same problem.

i have given this version a go and I’m now on the third day without losing a WiFi connection at all. Very pleased. The only issue I have is that Ethernet does not work. The icon comes up that it’s connected at the front of the box but in the settings there is no connection. I see from the comments that a couple of others have had this too. Can I ask if anyone found a fix?
    massive thanks again to superceleron

Hello, I'm using this ROM since a year now on my T95Z Plus (2GB/16GB) and I'm very happy with it.

But yesterday I changed some values in the build.prop file, because I wanted to get a higher resolution in the Netflix app.
This was not the best idea, because my T95Z is now stuck at the bootanimation.
I can still access the build.prop file through Linux (Armbian, booted from SD card) and change the values.

So could someone with a running T95Z maybe please read the values out of the build.prop and post it here?
The build.prop file is in the /system/ folder, which can be found in the root directory.

These are the values I've changed:

    Code:
    ro.product.model=
    ro.product.brand=
    ro.product.name=
    ro.product.device=
    ro.product.board=
    ro.product.cpu.abi=
    ro.product.cpu.abi2=
    ro.product.manufacturer=
Thank you very much in advance for your answers. It would be great if I don't have to reset everything or flash the ROM again.

    Hey Everyone,

I flashed my T95Z (3G+32GB) with this rom and now it appears bricked :/

Before I could connect no problems with USB Burning Tool (that's how I flashed this rom), now device won't connect, there is no boot logo or HDMI signal but there is a solid blue LED light.

I've tried various stock images including one I have used successfully before via SD card & toothpick (success was with USB burn tool before though). I have made a few attempts to boot via TRWP on the SD card but to no avail (Not sure if I'm doing the TWRP thing right to be honest). Also tried burn card maker with an image that worked previosly.

The box does not seem to boot from installed recovery or from any recovery on the SD card :/

I don't know what wifi chip I have, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    (Windows 7 Pro)

Seems to be a thing with cheaper USB ports. Does not stop the power from running in reverse. I am just going to buy a new Android box that already does the things I need. I was trying to save a little money and instead cost myself a LOT. That will teach me!

Well... so THAT made matters worse. I had a powered USB hub. I plugged the powered hub in and it must have sent electricity THROUGH all the USB ports on the device because now my airmouse remote is fried, as well as my Logitech wireless keyboard and my brand new 4TB external drive. The good news? My crappy $40 Android box seems fine, I just lost $300 worth of the rest of the stuff!

I really need it to be powered from the box. It is actually a setup for in my RV so I need it to work that way. ONE of my boxes does this just fine, but has no bluetooth. So I am not sure with THIS box if it is a software thing? Or I suspect it may be a "power" thing and thus a hardware problem.

I just need to make one box have bluetooth or the other recognize an external HD. I wish I could just squish them together!
