I got this box https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071P56CQC..._prd_ttl_sol_0 which had Androind 7 on it originally. Unfortunately stock firmware is buggy - first of all Google Play resets itself every time. But that is not the main problem - some HD video playing on kodi with hardware acceleration has artifacts. Disabling hardware acceleration makes it play fine but box hangs after around an hour of playing. Flashing this firmware fixes the video problem but it has issues with network - wifi does not work at all, ethernet works only if you plug it to 100Mb switch. If you plug to 1Gb it is not working anymore (DHCP is not detected, static config does not work either, though switch shows that device is connected propely). Flashing this firmware Sunvell 1027-T95ZPLUS-4335&6330-v6 makes WIFI work again (did not test completely, but at least it sees networks again), but still has the same issue with 1Gb. I am not sure if wifi/ethernet drivers from Android 7 can be ported to this firmware, that would be great and would make this firmware perfect for me. I am going to stay with Sunvell one for now until they fix hardware acceleration on Android 7 or this firmware would pickup drivers. Cheers

Superceleron, the T95UPRO K and Z have new android 7.1 roms. Could you make a suberb version of it as well?

6) I recomend to connect 12V PSU before flashing to be sure that device will have enough power (without 13v connected flashing fails sometimes)
Dude what are you talking about...
DON'T TRY THIS, YOU WILL FRY YOUR BOX!
Sometimes you can access the box in maskrom mode if you find the right pins to short, look here:
http://freaktab.com/forum/main-categ...short-location
But putting 12v on the box will definitely fry it...

To unbrick it you can do following
1) Install USB Burning Tool
2) Disassemble the box
3) Connect box to USB
4) Find memory chip and using some metal tool short-circuit pins 29 and 30. Sample:
(Board color and components may )
5) After that it should apear in USB burning tool

P.S. is anyone know good firmware for 3GB version like this one? My old AM logic s812 based box worked perfectly, with AFR and all features working. Seems like getting 3 GB version of S912 was epic failno proper AFR, color issues, unstable firmwares
Last edited by RISCy Dude; 08 December 2017, 05:18. Reason: Evidence suggests that this box runs on 5V. I have changed the values from 13 to 5, assuming 13 was posted in error.
