Looking forward to the mxq pro 4k (p201) version and love the retro touch but should of been the Spectrum loading screen!

With this firmware are you able to turn the unit on with the remote? not sure if it is a hardware or firmware limitation with mine but once turned off you can't turn it back on unless you unplug it and plug back in.

when getting better I will finish it.
For the Power off failure bug I have to look.
Never tested it.

No probs ray sounds good.

Yeah my IR remote never actually worked with my box so I've been using a 2.4ghz wireless remote but once box in standby (red led) you can't turn it back on as there is no physical power button. Not sure if the USB port is even active when in standby let alone able to turn it on, perhaps its IR only or perhaps this box is pretty much just cheap junk...

If that is your box then why not? I used a different one as have a 905 based box.

Do what I did, put the image on a SD card and boot from the SD card first to see if the twrp actually works properly, if it does then carry on and flash it to the box.

screen stays black.
did also try via flashify.
no luck.

i also have problems to switch to 4k resolution, max is 1080p

Have you even read this thread? When asked he clearly stated it wouldn't and that he would release a version soon, that was followed by about half a dozen posts talking about the pro 4k version.
