    Hi

Here is a quick feedback about kernel/resolution test.

resolutions 1080p/50 & 1080p/60 works fine in kernel until 20 August

    The 22 August you introduce new resolution : 1080p/24 /25 & /30

With all those kernel only 1080p/24 is ok on my TV, all other the TV say bad res or simply a back screen.

So is it possible so set default res to 1080p/24 and not /60 ?

    Hope this helps !
    Franck.

    --edit
I flash fw 2.0.1 and then kernel kernel-1080p-200813.img

Long to start the fist time but finnaly booted in 1080p/60, it works, I can test 2.0.1 but with a old kernel...
for windows8.1 drivers fix follow this.

Minix neo x7 mini with quickshot firmware 3.1 with kernel HDMI patch
Minix neo s8s with stock firmware
Plex streamer with external MX player
TV Sony Bravia HDMI 1080p/60hz with AC3/DTS passthru.

I dont think this is a good solution because the workable modes differ on each TV/Monitor. For me the 1080p/24/30 gives bad resolution while the 480p/576p 50/60 work fine.

I will test an older kernel prior August 22.

I have found a recovery that works for the k-r43 for every rom that lewy20041 has mas so far. The credit for the recovery and how to install it to leolas. All i did was test it.This is how you install it.

Frist you download this package https://www.dropbox.com/s/87c1nmkfgjgfs88/Download.rar
Extract it to a usb drive
Then put and the internal sdcard
Then download busybox installer and then Open busybox installer, grant superuser permission,Use normal install (Not smart Install) then when it finish close the app.
If you don't have Terminal emulator download.
Then Open Terminal emulator and write:
              su
              cd /sdcard/Download
              mv lol-cwm-recovery.img cwm-recovery.img
              sh cwm.sh
              reboot recovery

There is an apk made by Petrus (credits to him). This apk let us to reboot, boot in recovery or bootloader mode (NEED ROOT). Is the simplier way to enter in recovery, you can find it in:http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...App&highlight=

                      Franck.
I found a workaround to have last fw with last kernel :

                      flash fw 2.0.1
                      boot is black but wait
                      then flash 20/08/13 kernel
                      boot in 1080p/60 is OK
                      change settings to set 720p/60
                      power off
                      flash last wasser kernel
                      reboot
change settings to 1080p/24 and it rocks !

So now I can test deeplier...

Thanks guys for your nice job.

cool, it would be great to be able to flash roms without wiping the sd card each time...

I can confirm that the kernel dated 20/08/13 does not have the "black screen" issue.

The next kernel release (22/8) introduced the phjanderson's fix. Maybe it has something to do with it? IDK..

                            Edit:
Just to mention that the (20/08) is a 1080p kernel, not 720p.
