To the best of my knowledge, there's no official Nougat firmware out yet for the p212 (S905X), but with Android 7.1.1 for q201 (S912) released it's definitely within the realm of possibility.

To fix your IR remote, try this :
-> Download the remote.conf file : https://mega.nz/#!wE0SiCTJ!-bWWEu6sU..._SpI-ipeCUSctg
-> Put it on SD card or USB key
-> Copy thise file on the box with root file manager (ie ES Explorer or X-plore File Manager) in folowing folders (Filename is in bold) :
• /system/etc/remote.conf
-> Reboot your box
/!\ Note: avoid to recover ancient files, prefer to rename them (ie: add "bak" our "sav" extestion); By this way, your can recover ancient files if this tips dosen't work
Note #2: You may give CHMOD 644 (Read-Write) premissions to folders and files before rename old files and copy teh new ones.
Note #3: Trouble knowed with this box :
-> Use On/Off button to switch off your box
-> You may use 2 button to switch on your box (instead On/Off)

I can confirm that this is working! I have T95X 2G/8G and I had to edit the image to get this working, it crashed when I tried to copy files with ES Explorer. Now if I only can find the remote config file and some instructions to make it working.

I could add the 9082C driver (.ko kernel module) and library (.so file), but the wpa_supplicant needs to replace the existing one...which I believe will disable wireless support for the other AMPAK chipsets. The better solution, I believe, is to put together an updater like I've already done for the Qualcomm QCA9377 chipset.

It would be OK with me if this is the only compatible way.

Can you please add those drivers to your next release?

A french friend has recently bought a T95N Mini M8S Pro S905X (m8spro) box at https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/New-T...670305568.html
This box uses 9082C Wif-Fi chipset

He first flashed COMPLETE ROM MINIMXIII-II_110M0_TVStock-20170319.img
and updated with update_MINIMXIII-II_112M0_TVStock-20170606.zip file.
At this step, Wi-Fi doesnt'work yet.
To fix 9082C Wif-Fi chipset :
-> Download WiFi-9082C.zip file -> https://mega.nz/#!pIFBiQqC!nxj48vPz6-5er7gM3XTGpCnWEF5evn1BLnK3DOlcKoM
-> Unzip files to put them on SD card or USB key
-> Copy these files on the box with root file manager (ie ES Explorer or X-plore File Manager) in folowing folders (Filenames are in bold) :
• /system/lib/9082xs.ko
• /system/lib/libhardware_legacy.so
• /System/bin/wpa_supplicant
• /System/bin/netd
-> Reboot the box to be able to activate Wi-Fi (His box works fine now)

Some of my default apps I am using:

• Gamesome Frontend or ARC Browser
• RetroArch (using these cores)
• PPSSPP
• ePSXe using libopenglplugin.so
• SMPC 17.1-Krypton
• Reboot Android TV
• Tv App Repo
• PuppetMaster.TV
• Aptoide

There are many more but this should be the main ones people will want.

For anyone interested I have made some tweak packs that install via TWRP recovery. It adds a few features and fixes some of the bugs I was facing.

The goal of the tweak pack:

• Brighten the screen so the details in the fur clothing is this music video are visible.
• Make this 4k 60FPS Youtube trailer run without stuttering (and to also be able to select 4K in the Youtube app).

Once all the tweak packs are installed and you let all the scripts in init.d run (can take up to 10mins) I can say I have achieved my goals (you may also have to wipe dalvik cache and cache partition so the installed apps get optimized).

With my tweaks added to this ROM, it runs butter smooth. I can even run PPSSPP with good frame rates.

Done a bit of fine tuning. It is as good as its going to be.

There are two ways: You can flash the entire burn package (img file) from USB or SD card with Amlogic BootcardMaker or you flash the update (.zip file) in TWRP recovery or the Update & Backup app.
