    Yes, support out of box.

But I don't know why DH 2017 is stuck when loading.

Strangely no, and now I noticed that with kodi 17.1 the 4k file play well...

And you don't see these problems with SPMC using the latest OEM firmware?

Same here. But how did you flash that AMPKAP update ZIP-file? The thing is... I don't seem to get into the recovery mode (only seeing the red play icon).
    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: never mind . Reflashed the burn image and could boot into recovery and flash the ZIP file. All fine now. And really nice

The .img file is an Amlogic burn package, which contains images of ALL the important partitions, crypto keys and the partition map. They use it at the factory to preload everything that you'll need, but it's not the same as an .img file that's an image of a single partition. (Unfortunately, they use the same file extension, which is confusing.) With the burn package, you can use USB Burning Tool with a USB OTG cable or use BootcardMaker to prepare an SD card, but both will do a data wipe.

The OTA update (.zip file) is designed for over-the-air updates and contains bootloader, boot and system partitions...not the recovery partition, crypto keys or partition map. This can be installed by booting into the recovery partition (either TWRP or the stock Android recovery) or by using the Update & Backup app (which will subsequently hand off to the recovery partition to install). The stock recovery requires any updates it installs to be signed, but TWRP doesn't. The OTA update has the advantage of not requiring a data wipe, but you can still opt to do it yourself by checking the boxes in the U&B app or by selecting the factory data wipe commands in recovery.

There are links on the original post with instructions on how to use Amlogic's USB Burning Tool or BootcardMaker to flash a burn package (.img file). For the initial install, you should flash the burn package so that you start with a clean slate. (Unfortunately, it does mean a data wipe.) For incremental builds that follow, you should be able to enter TWRP (type "reboot recovery" in Terminal Emulator), hit Install, select source, and select the OTA update (.zip file) from there. Pretty simple stuff.

    Hi to everyone!
I have read all posts but I don't find an "How to" for install ROM on my MINI M8S II.
Guest and @professeur83: Can you explain me how to install ROM?
I don't understand if I have to flash ROM with original flash program (now I don't remember program's name) or if I have to proceed from TWRP.
In this second case i think that a "guide/list/little how to" for install TWRP is appreciated.
    Thanks so much,
    Andrea
