Looks like my wifi doesn't work on my new Mini M8S II and I can't finish setup wizard because of that

Sure. I have to setup everything first, I'll try at the weekend.

(The only problem with this is that TWRP backup doesn't include the bootloader partition, which could have changed. If you could go into Terminal in TWRP and add a "dd -if /dev/block/bootloader -of bootloader.img", that would make it more complete.)

Did see that, but I don't see the v111 that is currently on my box there. But you already asked for it...
I found some other links here to mega.nz with latest v106M0 (MINIMXIII-II_106M0.img).
I guess this would be a start and then I could do an OTA update?

I thought I saw a thread with an overview and links to all official revisions, but I don't find it anymore.

Would a backup using TWRP work?
I guess I can't flash that with the Amlogic tool and you said something about repartitioning, so that sounds like no way to go?

(Although, we've had some success running the tablet version of Netflix, if not the Android TV version...just not in HD.)
I see. I checked and stock ROM also only has Level 3, so indeed nothing lost.
And yes, tablet version of Amazon Video is working, but as you said just SD (unfortunately).

    Thanks!

    No, I don't believe that's possible.

    Hi all,

sorry in advance, I am pretty new to Android TV stuff. I just bought a Beelink Mini MX3 II and was a little bit disappointed that it doesn't have true Android TV, so I'd really like to try this custom ROM.

    I have some questions:
    (1) Can I make a backup of the stock ROM before flashing with the Amlogic tool or do I have to find the stock ROM somewhere to go back?

    Hello,
As I said in another topic, I've tried to install MINIMXIII-II_110M0_TVStock-20170319.img from an SD card with Amlogic Burn Card Maker but the upgrading screen is always stucked at 5% of the progress bar.
I've also tried with Amlogic USB Burning Tool but to no avail.
    I get the following errors:
    - [0x30201006]UBOOT/Disk initialize/Send command/Time out
    - [0x00101004]Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/Error result
    - [0x10101002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Identify/USB Control setup error

Ah, I saw that once too...and it's the only time I was able to successful cast from the YouTube app. 'Curiouser and curiouser!' :-)

(I need to capture a logcat when that happens so that I can look closer at how it got a cast device cert.)

Unfortunately I do not know, because I updated directly to your great firmware.
I guess it is also a problem with the original firmware. Maybe others could confirm?

Did I break it? How well does it work in the latest OEM firmware?
