Works well for movies @ 1080p but there are some redraw issues on the Android UI which cause the screen to glitch occasionally. YWTerminal are still working on a fix . . .
Intresting, if we put glitch problem aside. Is video in general smoother than RK3066/RK3188 in your opinion?

Yes, with no modifications XBMC runs well @ 1080p with hwaccel, remember this is the same chipset as inside the Galaxy S3 !

Sorry, I do not use Netflix, though there should be no reason why it would not work.

YW9300 Overall this is an excellent unit right out of the box. I have been using it regularly for five months . It has never crashed and it plays everything. It is fast and responsive and super stable. I have not used netflix on it.

To be honest I expected to see more development by now, such as A15 device or Snapdragon or Tegra 4. With all this talk of octo core we don't have that many quad core options yet.

$124 for a 1gb device seems quite expensive though
I want to try this box out, but geekbuying dosen't have 2GB/16GB version. Is it important to have 2GB instead of 1GB? I gonna use it for Netflix and stream 720p.mkv files from my computer.

I would get the 2-16 combination. Contact them direct at YWTerminal

this seems to be a rooted rom for the YW9300
you'll probably need google to translate it.

Couldn't wait any longer and took the plunge. I ordered a Huawei Mediaq M310 quad core K3V2 with the Vivante 4000 gpu. A buddy of mine who repairs cellphones says their build quality is excellent. Guess i'll find out.
