Hello all,

Here it is the New Custom Rom for the MK802IV with new WiFi Chipset.
The Rom is an Android 4.2.2 Rom with a 3.0.36+ Kernel.
I have tweaked this Rom for Speed and Stability.
Bluetooth and Wifi are confirmed to Work.
Removed all unneeded Software.
Fully Rooted.

Flashing:

Unpack it and Run RK Android Tool.
Please change the Kernel.img to Kernel1.img.

I got MK809iii five days ago from china market.I want to overclock it .But I think my wireless HW is new .So I attched the pic of it.Can someone who overclocked the MK809III( MK802.....etc.) before have a look what type of your wireless HW is? My new MK809III is Built-in AP6210 WiFi(2.4G)+Bluetooth 3.0 Module .
You can see the pic of it.

If I want to overclock my MK809III,which firmware iscompatiable for it?I know from the sales that the WIFI chip has four type in the mini pc of RK3188

Can someone make a full update.img firmware with an overclocked kernel?


neomode: I think you should give out the specs of the WIFI chip in stead of the"NEW WIFI CHIP" when you announce a Crom

what about your wifi signal use orginal rom? My wifi signal looks not good. Only 11M use 54M router one meter away from the router

You must change the Kernel.img in RkAndroidTool to Kernel1.img

I get an error when i do that. Also there is no file called Kernal1.img in the \rockdev\Image folder.

Wifi is working well. Antutu is getting about 15200.

So now i have this rom can i fit a heat sink and overclock?

I think you can't overclock it because sam321 hasn't modified the kernel for the new wifi chip.

I f you konw how to modify the overclcok kernal,maybe...

I tested on my MK809III, wifi/BT(AP6210) working .

But it isn't full screen displayed when I used it on my sony TV.

Can you modify the rom for the bug??
