Alfwise H96 Pro Plus DDR4 version

Hi, I have the exact same box from 4K, H96 Pro Plus 3GB/32GB, DDR4 (as it says on the label when I opened the box), I need to know if anyone has the related Android 7.1.1 firmware for this box? I have tried a couple posted on some youtube links and some other sites but non of them appears to work with my box (possibly those firmware are DDR3), if anyone has a working firmware for DDR4 model please do share,

and yes, my box also has 2 extra USB ports hidden inside the box, I found it out when I opened the box.

use scooter2014`s debloated firmware (works fine for me) or
supercelerons version with missing wifi driver and not working remote.
(if you need, fix the wifi (if you use LAN, you are fine) and fix the remote by reading this forum. if u have an external remote, like rii 28 with usb dongle, you are lucky and you dont need the remot fix)
but it is android 6 and i havent read about a 7th version, yet.
what is bad with android6 and why do you need android 7?

Have already read all about the firmware you mentioned, and since 7.1.1 is the latest it'll have better security/performance etc... So why not try it, just am waiting for a DDR 4 firmware, can someone guide me from where I can find the factory image or firmware for amlogic devices? Is there a platform/site available with all amlogic supported devices firmware?

What are the options to check "Burn Card Maker" to flash firmware?

Is it correct the option?

I own the ddr4 version (generic 4k branding 3/32g) and have successfully flashed supercelerons scv1 for ddr4 rom via the SD card route plus the 9377 wifi fix and fixed the remote. Happy camper here!

I have read the threads and most say they are very interesting. I am new to this particular box and have a question. Mine has the 3g and 32gb DDR4 Ram as stated here but I have a issue with the 5g wifi connection. The box has both 2.4 and 5 ghz connection and the 2.4 works perfectly well. However, the 5ghz will only work if I disable the 2.4 ghz on my router which obviously I can not because most of my other gadgets use 2.4ghz. With 2.4 and 5 ghz switched on at my router, the box states it can not connect. Is this an issue others have experienced and if so, what can be done about it? Thanks

You are flashing the ATV (Android TV) Wi-Fi fix over the standard SC firmware. Download the Wi-Fi fix for the standard version.

Greetings everyone.

I recently purchased a few Alfawise H96 Pro + 3GB/32GB boxes from gearbest.com and they arrived just a few days ago, and I got them all setup without too many issues, but it appears I am in need of a firmware upgrade, because I have the problem where power off hangs, and refuses to power back on. The first box of this type I purchased from Amazon, and its not an Alfwawise model, but rather the "4K Ultra HD TV BOX" style, and it's power on/off functions normally as it should.

Reading some other posts, seems to suggest there are multple versions of this Alfawise box, the main difference apparently being a DDR3 version, and a DDR4 version. Not knowing which ones I owned, and having to open one up to find out, I went ahead and documented everything as best I could in regards to exactly what gearbest.com shipped me, so I thought I would post all the info here in order to share it with everyone. I'm new to these forums, so if I'm posting this to the wrong place, by all means, please forgive me.

please open the cliped on cover, and remove the paper sticker on the pcb. (no need to use a screewdriver!)
normaly it is printed on the pcb. if not, check the number on the ram chip, and google it.
but this info is not interesting more.
the new roms are working on both boxes...
use SCV4 and above
