not only on/off is the problem, the remote (Tronsmart) is not working together with the ugoos firmware.

gefattern Hi there, no its no a 4k TV, max res is 1080p LED, what happens is it shows a HDMI signal for a few secs (not enough to display a picture) and then says no signal, I then plug MyGica ATV- 582 into the same hdmi port and its stays connected at 1080p, I think the UT4 might be faulty as recently it reboots itself for no reason no matter what rom I install, custom or original. Whats really weird is that the UT 4 works on my LG TV , except for the reboot issue.

if this happens reconnect the HDMI Cable to TV (same Port) , what happens then ???

Did you only flashed the UT4 Rom from 19.4.17 , i needed a new boot.img for that ,

Mo made one for me , my Box did not Shutdown without , later i can upload and you

can try the boot.img for the UT4 .

Yes I flashed UT4 Rom 19.4.17 (loving this ROM, super fast), I did not flash a new boot image though as I don't have one, unless its the uBoot image under "AndroidTool_Release_v2.35\rockdev" that you are referring too. How does that process flash, do I use Android Toolkit 2.35 and flash the Boot image first and then the Rom after that?
Originally I just flashing the ROM on its own without boot.img my box does shutdown but I would have to unplug the power and plug it back in to get it to boot up and then it rebooted by itself frequently.
Reconnecting HDMI cable I get the same result, shows a signal for a few secs but no picture.

not "uBoot" the "boot.img" . Difference .

no you only flash the "boot.img" afterwards . Uncheck the rest .

maybe it helps to manually change the keymapping , somewhere here are Threads about that ,

but do not know exactly where , have to search first .

Why not using a BT Mouse / Air Mouse / cheap one ???

I had another rom installed, so I followed this process to update TV Box:
- Performed a lower format.
- Then erase flash
- the upgrade to UT4_MM_V1.3_by_mo123
- and finally added boot(fixed_shutdown).img to "Download image tab" (unchecking all others except Boot) and hit RUN.
- (all operations were successful)

Now the Ugoos UT4 is stuck on the logo in a boot loop, eventually it boots in 10 mins later, after 5 mins of active use it reboots itself again. (while I'm downloading apps in the Play Store). after this it stays in a boot-loop until I unplug the power for a while.

PS: I tried the above operations twice.

Maybe you can do EraseFlash again and flash UT4_2.0.0 instead?

I did that, does not reboot anymore but the audio stutters in you-tube, I prefer your ROM, plus your ROM is quicker

I discovered what caused the rebooting, its kodi 17.3, uninstalled it, no rebooting any more.

mo123, I installed this rom to my Tronsmart R68, this rom very good but there is audio stuttering issue in first 120 second of video. other problem( its not important), when turn of the box, green led indicator remains blue, and led isn't shutting down. can you fix it?(especially audio stuttering). thanks a lot for your labor.

I made lots of audio changes in new firmware, I just hope pass-through can still work after it.
Should release the ROM this week.

Is this ROM based on Android 6 or Android 5.1?
