MOV Z69 2GB RAM 16GB ROM rooted firmware?

Hey, gatos814. It's nice what you did! I also have a TWRP backup of the original ROM mine came (April.2017) which PlayStore works but I would need to factory reset it since it had my google account linked.

Also, did anyone notice anything wrong with the videoplayback smoothness on kodi or even on the media player with a video file? It seems a bit choppy and not smooth. I think it's something about the codec permission since this SoC is more than capable to handle video.

My friend has 2 of these tv boxes
The first one is working very well with everything on it!
This second one now ,with the other non samsung eMMC has a very ''crap'' firmware!
That's why he bricked it ,during other firmwares tests!
Now unfortunatly i don't have it in my hands but with this mod one i made everything are working very well!
FTMC version 24 and Terrarium tv are working very very good !
Tested from me 100%
Also playstore working 100%

I have z69-M 2gb 16gb... A lot of aplications in google play are incompatible with this firmware....What firmware can I put on?

All you need is a usb male to male cable and to properly install drivers on your pc!
After that ,look and follow the instructions and everything will be ok!
And if that firmware makes the difference let us know!

Recently i took in my hands this tv box with this board ( XJH_MX173_V00 2017_03_03) from a friend who bricked it !
There was no responting from pc and it was ''working'' only a blue/red led !
I fanally unbricked it with ''short pin'' of 8 & 9 and with this Z69-2017516 firmware !
After that i saw that this firmware had a lot of restricted issues on playstore !
So i made a mod one clean with no pre-apps (no kodi) ,with status and navigation bar , one tap clean , rgb fix app, has root access and with playstore working 100%

NOTE : After first boot give permissions to music app and browser !
!!! DON'T USE RGB FIX FROM IT'S SETTINGS !!!

Bugs : No recovery working

For Fire TV.img i don't know but for RGB there is an app called box fix ,use this !
Now to work web browser and music , just give access permissions from settings/apps/permissions!

Yesterday i took in my hands one of these z69 boxes again...
This time came with a 7.1.2 Android version!!!!!
With this Android 7 version this tv box was the worst experience ever for a s905x chip!
So i tried this version of @svicar
which was ok but it wasn't working properly the superuser so i tried the mod one and now everything is working ok!

Hi all! I'm new to this tvbox thing. I've bought the z69 with 2017516 firmware. I got a Phillips LCD from 2009 (green screen).
Question; if I flash Gatos firmware on my tvbox the green screen issue should be solved trought the rgb fix app?

Hi again! I flashed the z69 with your rom;
* is indeed faster!
* the play store runs great, now I can install all the apps I want!
* the app for shut down/sleep mode/restart is very useful, now I can forget the original remote that I used only for turn off the tvbox.
* And the most important to me; THE RGB FIX APP! I guess the issue is FIXED! For the last couple of hours no sign of green screen!
So... THANK YOU VERY MUCH, GATOS814! YOU ARE THE MAN!

Hey guys, I also flashed my Z69 with gatos' rom. Thanks so much for sharing that btw!!!
It all went nicely, however - for some reason it still shows apps being "incompatible" with my device in the app store. I can't even install NETFLIX ??!
Also I find that for some reason the video streaming seems to be a bit laggy on literally all other apps like youtube and several IPTV apps. I can rule out my internet connection as a culprit since I'm getting 40+ Mbit... Any ideas? Anyone experiencing similar issues?

I'd really appreciate any comments, ideas, etc.
