I received It yesterday. I have to test it. I noticed that there is no notification bar (the top one) and not even the navigation bar (the bottom one). How can I enable them? I went to the menu but did not find the right voice. Gearbest told me that It's rooted, but I still have not found an application that works to control the root presence.

Onto some testing and Information etc
Switch on Good, no problems with Google, set up apps, updated no weird stuff
Remote, feels good, purple Buttons wife likes, works well.
Good looking Unit I feel different shape has the look The Wedge comes to mind
Being a Rk3328 CPU, good for streaming and social games not a big performer.
2.4Ghz wifi and Fast lan, BT handy for speakers, keyboards headset etc.
In Images above we see Samsung Ram and eMMC so speed should be Ok to Good.

Hi Trebor...I just got this box and updated the supersu before seeing your post here and it's stuck on booting...So with the searches I've done I found this page and have downloaded the RK Driver Assistant and RK Batch Tool and have plugged my box into usb on my laptop. I downloaded the firmware file as well. I ran the installer for the drivers (I'm running windows 10) says installed okay. Then I open the RK Batch Tool, load the firmware then plugged in the box to the laptop while holding a paperclip on the reset button but my Device does not get Detected in RK Batch Tool...I've been trying for many hours all different ways to load the box but I can't seem to get it to load or detect my device. Would you have any suggestions as to what I may have to do to get it to detect my device?
Thank you for any help you may provide...Aaron

Hold Button plug in usb, mine detected in an instant,
Unless not enough power at usb port ?
Check device manage on PC maybe unknown device, just remove from device manager and rescan may detect ok.
Using win10 here..

Thank you for trying to help but I may just leave it for a bit and see if newer files come about that I can try later on because I'm getting really frustrated with this box. I've spent about 20 hours trying to get this out of the boot loop with no luck at all.
Thank you...Aaron Raymond
