At first sorry for my incompetence, but i am very new to TV boxes.
I have an MX9 pro box and at this moment I cannot turn on. When I plug in the power supply cable, the power button rapidly flashes a few times (the color is red) then the light turns off and nothing happens. What could possibly go wrong and is there any solution for this problem?

Thank you very much for your responses in advance.
Hi all! Right now I have a new problem. The power button lights solid red (like when it is turned off), but I cannot turn on. If i push the button or try to turn on with the remote, nothing happens. Any idea what can be the solution?

You probably need to flash new firmware, because the device seems to be bricked. Here on this forum are some tools and tutorials how to do it. If you will have some issues to connect to the PC, try MASKROM mode, worked for me.

Thank you very much. I flashed the new firmware with the RKBatchTool. It said everything went succesfully, but now when i plug it back, the power button flashes red for a few times very rapidly and then nothing happens

EDIT: Now I tried to power it from the OTG USB port and now everything works perfectly. Now i guess my power brick died.

Those power adapters are quite unreliable IMO, I had the same problem with mine. One day my TV box got stuck on green screen after boot logo, after 2 or 3 weeks of research, flashing and swearing I realized the issue is in power supply. OTG works fine for a while, but TV or USB port's current is not sufficient for long therm usage, buy some replacement power adapter, it has to be 5V 2,5A at least.

Remove Chinese characters from name, or just rename file update.img

File is called mx9 pro rk3328 20180115 and has no extension or .zip

                        Rename it to update.zip
Extract file with winzip or whatever, might have to unzip with 7-zip
The extracted .img file is called a9s_rk3328_d4_rtl8723_20180115_r1(mx9pro 无插件)
                        Rename to update.img
Batchtool / Android tool should see.
