Hello, i have this tv box 2 weeks but i have some problems and i want to know if someone had the same and solved.

    1. My apps sometimes stop responding and i need to unplug for restart. Bugs i think.
    2. The biggest problem is that sometimes restarts wifi (so i loose my connection) and the same time the audio stops. after it reconnect but i dont have sound. I need to restart the device.
Its like restarting the hardware on wifi and audio.

I have done 3 times factory resets but nothing, i have a big fan (no usb, it has own power) so no heating problem, max 60C on games and i have adapter 5V 3A.
It has 7.1.2 android but i dont know how to see the firmware.

Sorry for my English, thank you.

Yeah there's plenty on Eb@y but finding the right one is the problem. But if I can find one cheap that works then I can post it here so everybody knows...
That "Trust" one looks like a quality one but looks like they are primarily sold in Europe (I'm in the U.S.). I have no previous experience with USB-C
and I found out that from the one I purchased on Eb@y and from your experience as well that not all of them will work. I'm looking. I just want to
use the C-port to plug other normal USB devices in. I see there's also some C -port to USB hubs being sold and I'm looking at those. The problem is some
of the Eb@y sellers are very difficult to get your money back if it doesn't work. I already have my 2 regular USB ports used on the H96Max. But I'd rather not use
a Hub as that just adds more wires and takes more space and really I just need to use the one extra port.

    Where you live?

    chech again e@bay site

    that I'V found

"Double-Side Type C to USB 3.0 Type A Male to Female OTG Data Charger Cable Cord"

And which type Adapter you want? Type-C to USB3.0 MALE or FEMALE??

seems that Male type Adapters more expensive!

I'll wil buy a new one with Male end,I'v Female type but for use this type Adapter you will need
connection cable! (MALE-MALE type USB3.0,but also MALE-MALE type USB2.0 works!)

So for easy connection the best type is Type-C to USB3.0 MALE

OK... That's good info... I already got my money back for the adapter so I'll be on the hunt again and will look for that "Trust" one...Thanks.

Edit: I found that "Trust" one on [email protected] the seller is in Poland and wants $9.34 plus $26.29 Shipping...

Probably your Type-C port work! even all your USB ports work well, dont worry for that

Keep in mind;My Box(X99) Type-C works well but when I was bought my first Adapter(same yours type) does not work well!

-in the begining(just for couple of days)worked than out of order! so I drop it out! than I'v been bought another Adapter
and until now it works!(about 3months)

Importatnt Not;I forgot to write it,in May,one of my friend sent it his H96 Box to me in order to Testing and Type-C port well
no problem with my second bought Adapter as well!

    check my post P.9/msg Nr.130 "X99 Thread">>> http://freaktab.com/filedata/fetch?id=732399

Yeah...First I'm going to do is get my money back for this junk ($1.95)...I was hoping someone else here has tried using an adapter on the C port and found one that works and can post it.
Right now I haven't seen anybody post anything about whether the C port on the H96Max really even works. There's no place for me to obtain different adapters where I live so I have to order online for anything I would want to try...I don't want to waste any more money until I know for sure the C port on the H96Max really works and that there is a known good adapter for it.

This Adapter Type-C to USB3.0 Female type(same as mine one),so you need another cable to connection!

For example Your Adapter+USB3.0 Male-Male Cable!

And how you use or connect this Adapter?

The one I purchased is on Eb@y.... Does not work. Wants to fall out of the C port on the H96Max. Port on the H96Max is larger.

I tried both Upgrade and Restore...It didn't seem to make any difference. It overwrites your entire installation so you have to
backup and restore you APPS as well as your KODI installation when flashing new firmware. (Or reinstall everything).
