Your screen resolution is probably stuck on 800x480?
Test by changing resolution to 720p. Settings > Display
If it still fails to increase the resolution(EDID error), shut down/unplug China Box and T.V. and change to a different HDMI port on the same T.V.
Try on both T.V's
If it recognizes 720p...then change to 1080p...test on both T.V's...
Might be risky if HDMI is not working properly and you will have a black screen..until you can find another T.V. the has a proper "HDMI Handshake".
...or flash firmware again.

However risky, this is the closest pic I could find. How to short your pins(or it's wrong and damages your board...)
Hello everyone Recently, while trying to flash different rom, i managed to brick my device. Looking around this grate forum (FreakTab) and with the help of two
You will still need a proper firmware...or original..to get you up and running again.

My S912 box (T9X PRO) was bricked, the reset button was not working, shorted the two pins with a butter knife (see post 12 with the picture) and presto, the box appeared in the usb burning tool. fantastic! Thank you so much!

I have exactly the same board. Tried to flash several ROMs including "original" provided by banggood during refund process. Every time process gets stuck at 7% with the same error message as in the quote. Anyone, figured this out?
i am not a Pro in AML , but this Error Message , sounds like the Flashtool has Problems
to get in contact with the Disk/Nand or ever called , maybe something is damaged ,
further good luck / gefattern

I 've tried it 40 times and it still stops at 7%. Anyhow, thank you for the suggestion.
