    Some instructions.

Here is the thing.. Ive read so much. Now its confusing. What if you wanted to stay on a finless rom and flash just a new kernel. Ive read where you can. Ive read where it says not to. So question is on a cx919 with finless JB 4.2.. Can you flash kernel seperate? If so do you use the tool that flashed the the rom and check just the kernel?

Exactly. Just flash kernel and do not erase nand.

This combination works as good as the one with the lag-fix kernel??

does this fix the memory problem

my cx919 has to be reset every now and then as some of the memory seems to forget that it exists - also what bluetooth headphones do you use.

A question, do we need to clear any cache like dalvik cache before flashing another kernel?

Just wanted to note that I've tested the following combo and it is working well:

                  Nexus ROM v2 (SDK2)
                  Finless 1.4 4.2.2 kernel

                  Benefits over OPs combo:
                  1. No rotation issues with different launchers (rotation fix unneeded).
Edit - sorry still having rotation issues with this ROM

The Nexus ROM is the only ROM that I've found seems to be compatible with Hulu Plus on the CX-919

                  Other benefits:
                  1. Runs native XBMC 12.2 with no issues streaming 720P videos
                  2. Official Google 4.2.2. port
                  3. BT and WiFi working well

                  Issues
                  1. Running in Phablet (not a big phablet fan)
                  2. Overscan issues (all sides cut off)
                  3. Rotation issues with certain apps (rotates -90 degrees into portrait)

                  Antut Benchmark Score: 15856

                    Hello,

i have a cx919 with original os 4.2.2 stock with the black nand problem.
the android mini pc is in use by a heavy gaming people.

so i only want the solution for the above problem.
becouse sometimes games need 15 minutes to be visible in nexus launcher.
at this time the stick is very very slow in system-menus etc.

                    question:
                    1. does i can flash only the kernel file over the original 4.2.2 rom
                    2. which opportunity i have to save alle save-games in angry birds etc, becouse titanium backup not working proberly, may the save-files in different folders as data/obb???

hope flashing kernel file also work with stock-roms...

I gave this combo a go after heaps of Wifi issues with stock ROM. All I can say is thankyou! Running a treat! Also have a samsung TV which scales the screen perfectly.
