I flashed the twrp image via the official twrp app, and I can't enter recovery anymore by keeping the reset button pressed. It just boots the standard system instead of the twrp recovery. Is there some sort of additional trick I have to perform?

I have the 2017-06-19 firmware running, which perhaps isn't compatible with the twrp in the original post. I found a twrp there, which worked for me:
