Hi tillaz87 can you give me a Help? My device was often having issues with YouTube, so I uninstalled the update. I went to watch yesterday and locked the box so I hung up. I went to watch YouTube again today and locked the box so I hung up. To my surprise it did not start any more, at some point showed the Nexus Logo and in other bao showed nothing. I tried to flash some firmware here with SD Card (I always did so) and it's no problem, the flash does not start. Any idea?

Locked = Frozen on YouTube screen. I do not know the correct term for this in English.

No, idea sounds like some hardware died. All I can suggest is flashing with burntool as I've never used card method before.

can you explain me how you have remapped the home button from for example the T95Z Plus' remote to Android's home button? ^^

I'm looking at picking up the MECOOL KM8
its Google Certified Android TV and has a WiFi antenna..
8.0 but is the 905X.. s912 appears dead on amlogics side

I'm grabbing one just to be nosy but I would say it's the best option for Android TV for price right now.

However I have been told to expect something from Google in October so..

About YouTube, Google have changed something.. I've not had a chance to look at logs so no idea what exactly. Not sure if I will get around to it either as this box was passed on.

If someone posts logcat of the crash I will have a look though.

known bug, tillaz says it's youtube problem.. keep using youtube app that tillaz provided (uninstall updates and disable auto update in google play)

ha! Yep and I only have L3 drm.

If anyone is interested, you may notice YouTube, Netflix and Google Play services all have updated within a week. I put the blame on Google play services, as just about every update punks my systems. Sometimes it effects my tablet and of recent it has made my streaming apps puke. Nat Geo, FX Now, YouTube, Xfinity Stream, and a few others needed data cleared or just reinstalled. I did not want to bother installing the latest beta of play services, as homie don't play beta.

Would revert to previous play services but have resolved all my issues.


ALSO NOTED... since play services update, some build prop tweaks break some streaming apps from play back. RTE for example, will JS error or fail to connect. I am thinking Google is locking down on root detection, namely Xposed on 6.0 on up android.

Yeah I posted about this a few pages back, it's got progressively worse each update for some reason and I've not had time to have a look at logs..

I think s912 is dead on amlogics side, no 8.0 update.

This is a decant buy though for any new comers.. might grab on myself to have a look

It's certified ATV by Google so has Chromecast and L1 and an WiFi antenna.. but uses the weaker 905X
