[ROM] Mecool M8S Pro TVStock Nexus ROM (Android TV 7.1)

not having much success for some reason.i have two mecool m8s pro boxes.one with reset button one without.so i will try to get ugoos am3 2.1.3 on the box that has reset button first.can you help me to find where i am going wrong.can you give me a link to the 2.0.6 firmware that must be installed on the box first.does this firmware have twrp recovery already installed?if yes can you send link again for the twrp recovery from backup that will upgrade to am3 2.1.3.this is to make sure im using right firmware to get latest am3 rom on my mecool m8s pro.if i get that done ok i will try to get it installed on the one without the reset button that has widevine l1 support.each box presents different challenges.thank you in advance as you have been very supportive for me previously.

1. See my post on page 39. The links still work. TWRP is not installed.
I will send you a suitable TWRP. You can easy make your own "reset button" with wires, or by short pinning .

Don't install it. Place it in the form of recovery.img on the root of a flash drive or a SD card and reboot in recovery (for Ugoos you must unplug and plug in again, holding pressed the reset button).

I can't understand what happened. Netflix with problem, DRM info too.. Very strange... I really doesn't know how help you... Last try would be after flash, go to recovery and wipe your ROM, (wipe for a new install in TWRP), reboot and pray..

I don't know what happens with the netflix, I was using the stock rom of Mecool m8s pro plus and one day the netflix app stop working and that is the reason that I upgraded for nexus rom

This thread is the the Mecool M8S PRO, NOT the PRO PLUS. You are referring to the PLUS box, which one do you have, the PRO or the PRO PLUS??? They are two different animals.

I've been running this on the regular mecool Pro for a long time work perfect for me other than when it goes into sleep mode you have to restart because Wi-Fi won't connect but other than that I have no problems

I have made an install procedure on 4pda.ru, using recovery from backup with TWRP.

I can't reproduce this error... I've been using netflix tv normally.. The only one error that I've got here was the youtube, but as confirmed few posts ago in 905x ROM, the problem was in the Youtube APP...

Did you do a clean install, with all wipes?

what a version of netflix you use? Well, I did the OTA uptdade and selected the two options to clean of the APP Uptade

Thanks for letting me know of latest update.woud you care to share how to do it?l have hit a wall at the moment.i need to modify the firmware somehow so that it works at widevine L1 but that's beyond my capabilities.i will have to seek some help from my contacts to see if it is possible.otherwise this firmware is best out there.version 2.1.1 is the only one available to me at the moment.update.now got am3 2.1.3 on my mini m8s pro.
