I need pinless trust which is totally gone in Android 4.2.2, "bluetooth pairing" app no longer works because Google broke bluetooth
As I was aware bluetooth worked... I'll flash it to my stick again and check that out.

Do you have any more info on getting the ps3 bd remote working as I was able to get it paired but couldn't find any info on getting it to do anything.

When I pair it with other devices it just works. arrow keys are arrow keys, enter is enter, etc. How did you get it paired? With which rom?

When I try to enable it on my MK908 it just won't enable. I can fetch some logs or something if that will help.

I did some testing last night and yeah bluetooth doesn't work. It does with the original stock kernel for 4.1.1... my kernel has bluetooth working on 4.2.2 though... I did try a few things to get it going with no success...

                  Working Bluetooth

I added some new kernels to the first post that will fix bluetooth. It needs testing though. Also there's screenscaling options kinda... read the post. Good Luck!

Well I flashed the 100% scale kernel and now bluetooth will enable, and my display is scaled 100% without adjusting any settings. My display is 1440x900 so that's pretty cool. And I am very happy to report that this ROM+the latest kernel does precisely what I was hoping it would do: permit me to pair the Sony PS3 BD Remote with the aid of the "Bluetooth Pairing" app.

It will take some extended testing to be sure that all is well but things look excellent so far.

edit: Paired a mouse, horrible lag. But at least we're moving in the right direction. Maybe an increase of power.

That seems to always be an issue... plus I have no idea what antenna these things use for bluetooth or if that could be revamped... But thanks, glad to hear it's working for you! I'm using it now too. Oh, hey, please keep me posted on heat levels if you would. Thank you!

                        BT not working?

                        Hi hoabycsr,

I was still at your 4.1.1 v1.4 repack/vsync ROM and only updated it with the new 411kernel100.img kernel. BT doesn't work for me, too bad. After enabling it, in few secs it got grey again.

                        [edit]
But after a brand new EraseIDB and reflash everything, it works. BT enabled and pairing, blue LED working, OTG port working....[/edit]

Love it that you keep updating the 4.1.1 !

It IS getting pretty warm just idling, I will bring my IR point and shoot thermometer in here to see how hot it's getting.

I really should bring that thermometer in here, it's almost too hot to comfortably hold after running antutu, but not quite. But with the updated kernel I just got 18089 in Antutu without changing any settings, etc. Best performance on MK908 yet!

Can you tell me how to prevent rotation for real? I'm not happy with the rotation locker on this rom. I would really like to completely prevent rotation via build.prop or something but I'm having a hard time finding out how to do that. Some roms seem to achieve this...

There are options in the kernel for that, but the weird thing is that this kernel is the same one I use on the 4.2.2 roms and the rotation is locked. I could try turning them on and seeing how it works on 4.1.1.. I know antutu rotates for sure so it'd be an easy thing to test. I'll see what I can do but it won't be until tonight. Got family things going on today.

Two things I want to point out here. Before that, to mention that I am running your kernel with 4.22 finless version.
First thing about overheating- SetCPU reports that interactive or ondemand kernel setting run at high CPU frequencies all the time. Basically, CPU speed never gets under 1.2Ghz (usually is at 1.4 or max at 1.6) so no wonder stick crashes or reboots from time to time. I am not sure why is that as nothing is really running in background requiring CPU to run at this speed. I therefore limited per SetCPU max speed to 1.2Ghz as I don't think I need more power and 720p encoded videos would play fine even on lower speeds except decoding requires to be done by software which is rarely the issue.
Second thing is for those that complain that main USB input does not load or recognizes whatever USB stick you have attached to. The issue here is that whenever you restart MK908 unit (or unit restarts due to overheating itself without you knowing) default setting under "USB" is going to kick in which is "connect to PC" rendering your USB stick useless. So, each time you restart, you are going to have to change that setting for USB stick/drive files to show.
