OMFG they actually release Widevine L1 keys to someone. Google is so going to kill them. Btw Mecool release Android 8 TV box (MECOOL KM8) with similar specs to ours. Anyone is planning to port it ?

I tried method with 7 times knock on build number to get developer options, but in developer options there is no option to turn off rooted status.

I need this cause i have some apk that refuse to work with rooted box.

No it's not related to w1 key... Ive installed it already.. I have another problem Netflix vidov start loading to about 70-90% and it gives error I describe. I have no problem with it on stock and previous version of this rom. So please kindly give me link to previous version of this rom. Thanks.

Hi, i guess this new build not running surround sound, the same happens in my box.

Guest Is it possible to fix it? The New build is Very much stable in my box, but no surround sound.

try turning off surround sound in settings -> sound

So SmartYouTubeTV already blocks YouTube ads?

I just didn't see it blocking ads as a feature of the program in its features list.

Ha! I looked through the link, and many have to update the youtube mod for blacklist updates.

I never have to go through such a mess. I moved to android 4 years ago, and when I first heard peeps mentioning about ads in YouTube I thought they were joking. Just like the video a person placed as a link, stating he saw ads. It was funny as the product placement had been placed on the cans used in the demonstration.

Don't know how peeps get ads, never got one to see for myself. Though I don't cruise channels, just search for info.

I have been testing YouTube TV, and it has broad cast ads, which are impossible to remove without a go between server to catch ad streams and drop them. I use to do that with a proxy to identify all connections. Once I blocked pass through connection, blocked ads would not break connection, and play on with the programme.

I even blocked the player's media control function that was server based, for the difficult to remove ads. Won't allow skipping or pause, but will play from beginning to end continuously.

basically it was simple once I collected all the host names in background connections for ad services. Made that into a hosts file, which is the base for host ip resolving and blocking.

Works in all apps... needs a wee tweaking, but 10 of the 15 streaming apps have no ads. NBC apps are heavily hooked into Google ad services. Break an ad, you break the app or connection. You must hack the apk file to jump out of error checks.
