Yes, I believe you found the correct location of the reset button. Your procedure is correct. I found out that the USB ports on my computer did not have enough power to make the box connect to my computer. I use a powered USB hub. Others have reported that they power their box using the box's power plug then following this procedure.

Hello! I am trying to do a usb flash rom, my box don't have the reset button but I opened up and found some holes where suposed to be the reset button, so I put a paper clip on that and when my box is on and I put the paper clip appears a massage like "You wanna reset or turn it off" So, that means that I found the reset button? Other question, my pc don't reconize my box, how you guys do that? What I'm doing is: Put the paper clip on "reset button" and after that i put a male to male usb in my box and computer, is that alright? Please help me!

Yes! Kodi, mxplayer, youtube... all of them work ok, just netflix and drminfo has this problems. I found this: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...m-info-problem , is basicly my problem, one of the comments says "The solution was to flash a rom using Amlogic USB Burning Tool.", you know if this can fix it? About reset button, I din't open my mecool, i don't know how do that btw. Thank you one more time, Clark!!

WARNING: There's a bad batch of M8S Pro+ boxes which are experiencing regular freezing and crashes. We've narrowed the source of the problem down to a Samsung eMMC 5.1 chipset (KLMAG1JENB - B041), batches SEC 652 to 713, and these usually shipped from the factory with version 20170829.121614.V0321 of the OEM firmware. If you have one of these, it's highly recommended that you not flash any ROM (custom or OEM), as the prolonged block writes seem to result in serious data corruption.
