you can refer to AZW topic "how to flash W95 box", there is an instruction about how to flash by micro sd card.

Good night friends,
I got 2 of these boxes and I use them a lot every day. It is a very useful box, but I would like to improve the experience with NETFLIX. Is there any ATV firmware compatible? Or some Netflix Android TV version apk that works on w95?
The NETFLIX Android TV interface is much friendlier and more practical

It's possible to run Ubuntu Mate but I didn't manage to get WiFi working, only wired LAN (still needed to manualy configure it). Video performance under Ubuntu was poor. On the other hand I could run apps like LibreOffice without any problems. I've had some weird issues with my LCD display under Ubuntu which forced me to quit using Linux and stick with Android.

2. Under Windows use Rufus to burn image into USB drive or use dd command under linux.
3. Go to dtb files folder on USB. Find 1GB RAM - gxl_p212_1g.dtb or 2GB RAM - gxl_p212_2g.dtb file and copy it into root of the same partition as "dtb.img".
4. Run Android on your TV Box with USB plugged in. Run Update&Backup app. Select aml_autoscript.zip. Update. (only once, don't need to do it again if you flash different linux)
5. Reboot.
6. Password to Armbian is 1234. Configure user and password and reboot.
7. I had to use ctrl+alt+f1 and startx command to use it.
Libreelec image by kszaq, download https://kszaq.libreelec.tv/s905/8.2/...8.2.3.1.img.gz and dtb file here: https://kszaq.libreelec.tv/s905/8.2/device_trees/S905X/

I am very disappointed with this box, actually i cant boot any linux distro using AV output, and no libreelec + emulationstation works here, it sucks alot and since thats the only reason i bought this box im thinking about return it...its very frustrating, i dont see support or help anywere, im pissed off...looks like nobody owns s905w processors or nobody supports it. libreelect runs like garbage here, i cant find any custom rom for it also....my usb gamepad doesnt works with its stock android version despite it works on windows, linux and retropie...
Its a total mess im sorry but im very frustrated.
