What are you trying to prove with those links?

In the 1st one, it's clearly shown that the image used was a original stock firmware for the X96 Mini. This is what I meant when I said that you can only use an (.img) signed by the manufacturer themselves to flash the targetted box. The aml_upgrade_package.img is an official X96 Mini image which is SIGNED so of course it'll flashed properly.Try using the Tanix image instead and you'll break your box almost immediately after flashing.



In the 2nd link the Viet user is showing off a ATV version of a ROM but look carefull and you'll see the board he's using is NOT a X96 Mini. The X96 Mini does not have blue colored LED on the right hand side on the front panel. Logic will immediately tell you that's not a X96 Mini.



That is also not a X96 Mini controller shown in the video, it is from some other higher end box with an ATV(Android TV) rom.

So your point is???

Sorry to interfier but manu_man4 is correct there is a ATV rom version for this box, and it runs pretty well i got it running on my X96MINI I SAY AGAIN I GOT THR ATV ROM RUNNING ON MY X96MINI

I too have to same box as Nambisan and I have been searching these forums for days and tried so many different firmware just trying to get this thing working again. can anyone help with the firmware that will work on it and how to get it on?

I own this Box and can confirm Mine has bluetooth built in!!

May be different versions. I purchased this Box two months back. In this box there is no bluetooth.

I have got all these except the original firmware for this box. I would like to get the original firmware because original is always original. I am in search of this, ever since I bricked my X96 W Box.

you can flash original TANIX' which is available !!

I could not find x96mini either...but Tanix fw works pretty good cause pretty stable!
