I can make a precisation because it happened to me:

If I don't change in "view" tab of usb burning tool temperature range fron 20-40 to 20-60 system gives me an error at 9/%.
When you change that value all goes ok.

I put latest firmware in the box but I don't know why resolution doesn't go over 720. It says 1080 but if you go into KODI it says 720 as it appears to my eyes.

Any ideas?

It seems an error due to low power perhaps in USB port.

Yes, I changed the USB port in the PC and also change the cable but the result was the same.

I bricked with my X96 MINI while flashing the update firmware using an SD card. I used Burn_Card_Maker to make an SD card for the update, but unfortunately, the X96 Mini LED turns red and the box does not boot, then I try to use the PC USB_Burning_Tool and my X96mini is detected by USB_Burning_Tool














But It stops at 1% with ]--[0x10103005]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Download buffer/Read item data failed
Error in all versions of the USB burning tool



Have you changed USB port in PC?

Only version 2.0.1 shows 1% low_power failed and the log is as follows

after installin this one there is an update use the update app to do it for you it works, new update brings root as well
you need to extract all rar files and you will get the proper file

I have this box for a month, and I regret. Every day I have reboots with skewed screen (hw reboot helps), my tv reports 'invalid formats' from time to time. I tried to switch through resolutions and colorspaces and nothing. Is it a buggy box or a faulty unit? I'm using stock fw. Maybe some custom rom would help?

My mxiii-g worked more fluently.

I'm afraid that some electronics may be the issue it's a little odd the the box start blue and it's not detected by the USB tool, when you make the card first press the reset button inside ave port and Allah power hold the button untill you see the green Android and a bar under the little fella the bar should be growing green as the process evolves it may take a wile and sometimes it may seam that is stuck it should not take longer than 15 minuts to flash and another 7 to boot if everything goes ok, good luck mate I hope you don't have a faulty device, if you do return it to seller don't make like my friend he thrown he's to the bin , but he's was getting the same as you but the led was red not blue, it's a good divide for the price but unfortunately it's a little fragile we need to take caution when flashing firmware

Try with this firmware it's 1st unlocked bootloader stock tick the erase bootloader whatever flash method you use, I recommend USB burning tool 2.0.8 or burn card maker v2.0.3 you can use ether a sdcard or USB flash drive, if your still not successful try to boot to recovery if you do boot to recovery let me know ilI' give you from there, good luck...Here's what you need

Some times when flashing the x96mini you don't need to plug the power only press the reset button and then wile holding it plug your USB if your world cup driver is properly installed the PC will see the box at this point connect the power only if the PC doesn't provide enough power for flashing operation, good luck...

Some times when flashing the x96mini you don't need to plug the power only press the reset button and then wile holding it plug your USB if your world cup driver is properly installed the PC will see the box at this point connect the power only if the PC doesn't provide enough power for flashing operation, good luck...

Make sure you got world cup driver in your PC and with power still off pressand hold the reset button inside the av port then connect the power hold the reset button until you hear the windows sound the took should now see the device
