Dont think theres any firmware solution. What i did was is settings, disable sleep, power button=shut down.

Hi guys. Bought a m8s pro l (lb) this week, got20180316.143701.V0213

installed currently. When i go into sleep mode then wake up my bluetooth remote (with voice) stops working and it needs a box restart. Anyone know how to either downgrade (i have no idea which build i need) or how to fix because its so frustrating!

You can use any dongles remote to get by, but it won't have voice features

Hi guys, the box had worked like a charm for one week, and then WiFi suddenly stopped working! Android can't find any network and CoreElec doesn't even recognize it, I guess... Is the Wifi chip broken? Should I return the box or is there anything I can do firmware-wise?

I have the LB version, btw.

does anyone know how to get back to previous firmware which i think was from april and then just install nflix patch and get back to what i had. would like to do this from zip through updater app. wireless is perfect in libreelec. so i am looking for that file or a way uninstall last update. thank for any help.

Altho, after redoing the firmware to 20180417, and having previously run the tool, whatever it did persisted after the reflash and Netflix is fine.

i installed this update through normal ota process which completed normally on lb version. after update i have a new 'play protect' which is broken even if you disable it. the only way to get a non store apk to install is disable unkown sources, get the error and renable and then you can install. also it seems the wifi is worse.

On actual LB version of the box, I wasn't able to get the OTA to install either. It would download reboot into the Mecool screen and just hang there. I downloaded the file posted by dally and put it on sd card and shorted pins and it updated fine. Not sure what it was for, maybe it was something to do with the DRM issues the boxes are having. I don't use Netflix and Prime Video still doesn't work
