I can't find Playback Settings inside Android Settings like in M8S Pro or M8S Pro+. I'm talking about enabling “HDMI self adaptation”. Does M8S Pro L have this option or not?

With the waves in the top, it looks like it came from the factory with those vent holes I will be drilling.

Bluetooth doesn't work with my Rii so no advantage for me really.

Unless you place it on top of your amplifier, that is indeed an incredible temperature, and I'm surprised that there aren't more reports about it on this forum.

If it runs that hot I'll have to give it a miss, but I wonder which box to get, because everything I received in the past 6 months runs over 80°C.

I noticed you were also active in a thread on the LibreElec forum, and see those guys post that their boxes run 40°C, which I can not believe.

I know it will run cooler on LibreElec, but I use several apps as well, and that isn't possible then.
Just cranked up my "Pro", running my BlueRay rip of Avatar on Kodi. Box connected directly to HDMI input on my 4k TV. Temp. showing 170 degrees Fahrenheit at the start of the video. Will update this message in about an hour.
    Running Magendanz's ATV mod.

Edit: been about 15 minutes and temp reading 186 F. Ambient temp is approximately 73F.

Edit 2: After half an hour, temp showing 190F.

    Edit 3: After 45 minutes, hitting 194F >> 90 degrees Celsius.

Media being played, if that matters.

Yes, it is supposed to arrive today, but not holding my breath......... hahaha. I will test the temp, and then drill holes in the top of the box, if it is still running 200 degrees F.
