I am sorry for bothering you, but can you explain me in short how to do that ''pin shortcut method'' ?

pin shortcut is highly dangerous procedure during which you need to open the plastic case of your device and try to randomly do shortcut of the electric circle between random pins on the processor chip of the device.. I don't recommend this way unless you are in bootloop and hopless.

otherwise you can install the app called reboot from play store and use it to reboot to recovery or bootloader.. that is when you are not in bootloop

Hi guys , I bought this box as it listed spdif on the spec list. It doesnt have it , any provision for it to be installed on the board by any chance?

Just got my M8S Pro L running with Magendanz' AndroidTV Rom. I'm happy so far, but sadly there's no working solution Amazon Prime Video yet :-(

(Would the Prime Video app work with default (non-TV) Android Rom? just like on Android Tablet/Smartphone)

I also wanted to try (dualboot) LibreElec 9 with Kodi 18 alpha to get Amazon Prime Video via InputStream but couldn't get it to boot. I did a "reboot update" via terminal and ended up in TWRP recovery. I'm not 100% sure what to do from there, so I've got two more questions:

1. Can this box boot from USB? I didn't see the usb-drive in TWRP. I don't have a SD Card ready but will get one asap
2. I keep hearing that Kodi on Android is inferior to Kodi on LibreElec. (stuff like auto-framerate-switching, audio bitstream, ...) Is that true?

Prime app is not working on any pro l rom (you can install and run app but app crash when video starts), i have activated prime trial after i get my box to test if you use libreelec you can play only sd since if you select hd video will stutter since its sw and not hw decoded but you can use kodi on android and prime app to get hw decoded hd video
